My parents sued to have a silver Oldsmobile Acheiva S with a solid V6. They let me drive it one night to go get milk and a little part of me broke down on the way back. I took a detour into the country and decided to see how fast this thing could go. Lets just say the 120 mph speedometer doesn't go up high enough to max out the top gear by another, maybe 15-20 mph. It was just mindless youthful ignorance and I'm jjst glad there wasn't any traffic and I didn't hit any animals. I'm also very glad i ddn't get caught :o I got that little speeding demon out and don't plan on letting it out unless I'm on a track or whatnot.

Ya, that soundz alot like me, i can hardly speed much out hurr, too many animals, they R everywhere :roll:

hmm not the craziest, but it was fun...

I was in my '84 Vette about a year and a half ago, and in Ohio theres this big hill probably about a half a mile down, leading to railroad tracks... Needless to say I was sick and tired of following the 6 cars in front of me. So I popped into 2nd going about 30mph, and got around, I ended up getting up to 136mph, and I was glad that the railroad tracks were nice ones, otherwise I woulda F*ucked up my car. It was fun, but I'll say my other crazy one later heh :D :twisted:

It's hard to explain, but I'll try...

Ok well it was in the same car, but I was leaving my friends house... And he lives in the country, with a lot of curvy roads, and well I went to do a power slide around a 100 degree angle probably, and needless to say I overturnned it, and a truck was coming down the road... So I had to go into the ditch, i was probably going 50mph or so, didnt hurt anything, but it was really scary... I almost crapped myself

Craziest???I had my grandpa's '79 Fiat 131 SuperMirafiori in a dusty area.No cars no police no animals.Just me,my Fiat and a friend of mine.This Fiat is rear wheel driving and I was sliding all the way inside the area.In about 20 minutes sliding the car was overheated.It reached 110 Celcium.I scared so much that I open the engine to take air.I rechanged the water with cold water and I went back home.My grandpa or grandma didnt understand me.I took that car without they know it...I was so lucky cause the engine didn't blow up... :wink:

i didn't have my license yet ! it was around 3.00 in the night and we drove more than 80 KM. It was only a Seat Ibiza!

Her parents were on holiday and they have two cars :D , it was really intresting to see , how much her parents trust her :P :D

my worst i did it's when i went on the road at midnight and had a couple have cars but not a lot and i was with friends and they had no cop so we wanted to have a street race we were 7 cars to race one car almost crash he was aon the lawn and we were at 126 mph man :D

I was driving away fro the city. Farms everywhere, and straight roads for quite a few kms.I looked in my rearview miror and saw a car coming VERY fast. In no time he was right behind me. I let him pass. It was a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo. He got in front of me, but he would not accelerate to speeds like he had before. I see him looking in his rearview mirror. When he made sure I was looking at him, he raised his hand and challenged me to keep up. I see him accelerate fast. I hit the gas. We were going faster and faster. I remember seeing 250 on my speedo and we were still accelerating. That's when I stopped taking my eyes off the road. I really don't know how fast we were going, but it was damn fast. The lines on the road had become SOLID!!!!

We stopped in the next town at a coffee shop to relax and introduce ourselves. He was very suprised at the fact that he could not get away from me. He told me he had some work done to the car, and asked me about mine. When I told him what I had he seemed a bit more relaxed :P

That day I experienced a new type of racing. "Pushing the car ahead to its limits" like he said...



P.S. At the time I had a 383 stroker with a procharger set at aprox. 15 lbs boost

this wasn't my doing, but my uncles. I can't offically drive yet, so these three stories are the closest. First one. I was about ten, and i was in the back seat of my uncles M3 with my cousin. He was driving and talking to my grandpa. we were going pretty fast, but still under the speed limit. all of the sudden, i hear the engine rev ever so slightly higher, and i get sucked back into my seat just a little bit. this hapens for about ten minutes. I then look over my uncles shoulder to look at the speedo. WE WERE DOING 115 ON A HIGHWAY!!!! It scared me to death. There were almost no cars on the highway, and it was at night, so it wasn't like i was tasting death. But, he was doing this while talking to my grandpa, glancing at the road every now and then.

Second was with my crazy uncle also. I probaly told this story in another post, bu ti like it, so i'm going to tell it anyway. Ok, i was visiting my grandparents house in illinois, and my uncle comes over with his brand new Boxster S. I asked him if i could have a ride in it, and he said yes and smiled a wicked smile. It was night, again. I bucled myself in and he asked if i wanted a fun ride or an insane ride. I, of course, said insane. And he didn't disappoint. he drove off, racing around the neighborhood. When i mean race, i mean race. He flew around the corners like someone was chasing him with a really fast tank. Infact, he almost hit a car. I think it was a mercedes. It was pulling out, and we just rounded a corner. We had to swerve out of the way really fast, horns blaring. He said that should be our little secret.

Third was when my mom took me driving. She took me to this big parking lot to practice. I was in my sisters Focus sedan. My dad told me before i left that the throttle sticks a little from time to time. Nothing major, he said, you'll get the hang of it. After about half an hour of driving, i decided to scare the sh*t out of my mom. There was a long, striaght part at the far edge of the parking lot with a dumpster at the end. There was a little space just to the left of it. It was about 2 feet wider than the car. I went to the oppisite end of the side the dumpster was on, and accelerated to about 20. Then i started shouting "AHHH, THE THROTTLE IS STICKING!!!!". MY mom started panicing and braced herself for impact. I let go of the wheel for a second for effect. I then put it back on, slammed the brakes, and slid through the little space at the end of the dumpster. i had a good laugh. I never drove again.

not the craziest though...definately gonna go with the day, the day before labor day by the way, when I was merging onto the thruway and i saw a 2001 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet speeding at 100mph, the limit's 65...Anyways, i took the onramp fast and caught the porsche as I merged, i merged at 90, and then i saw who he was chasing...A rosso red Ferrari Testarossa...oh lord...we, all three of us, braided New York State Thruway traffic at 100 mph at times, the ferrari pulled away when there was a break in traffic...but...like i said before, it was labor day weekend, so i can say
"I kept up with a Ferrari Testarossa and a Porsche Carrera Cabriolet in my Ford Probe!!!HAHAHAHAHA :D :D :D

I also hit 168 in a Ferrari 360 Modena...but that was on a track and due to a VERY VERYVERYVERY awesome owner of one

I have two story's,

First i was dirving around one night with a friend and we decided were were gonna go around all to merges on a bridge, it had just started to drizlze, so we were going pretty fast, we cam up to the top of the last clover leaf and the back end of the car swung around, being the rooking i was i over corrected and we swung around the other way, almost flew of the bridge at 65 mph. When we stopped we were facing the wron g way on the highway... it was nuts

Second, i was driving in the city, it was cruise night,( maybe nobody know abotu this, but every sunday in the summer in winnipeg manitoba is cruise night) so i took my camaro out and we were just cruiing around when a viper a vette and a newer camaro all pulled up to the ried light beside me, it was the greatest moment of my life,we all just gaver at the green light. i hit about160 kph. i lost the race pretty badly but it was still fun.

Got nailed going 100 in 65, lost liscense. Damn laser.

About 2 years ago i had a nice BMW 328i and was traveling down a back road in Germany the speed limit was about 70 kph it was winter i was driving at about 120kph(so not to fast) lost the back end on black ice and put it in a ditch what can i say thats why my next BMW never went far in the winter...

but when i can drive i'll probably get something that sux, like a 93 lexus ES300 :(

the crazyist thing i every went through waas when my father drove my car at 160 kmh on a curvy road in the mountains :roll: .it was quite scary with luminas racing us at 180 or more.

another when we took our car in the mountains on steep slopes. on one slope are tires startes skiddin and we could not go further. everyone except the driver had to get off to allow the car to climb, the tires got screwed.

by the way my car is a crysler voyager which is totally a sunday drive car but we have friday as a weekend

The worst thing that happened to me was when my mom was driving like 120 mph in a Ford Ranger and lost control going around a corner and went into the ditch and flipped the truck about five times. The truck was totalled. I dont trust my mom anymore when she drives because I have only been in crashes with her.

The craziest thing ive been in in a car is with my dad when he brought home an Evo 6 (he works for mitsubishi) and he took me and my brother (we couldnt drive at the time) out driving in the mountains doing around 120-130kph around tight as corners. Dosnt sound that much but its scary when your over realy steep 30-40 metre drops.

greatest race ever. I was in my friend's '99 VR-4 3000GT (tt duh) we were going against a newer tt supra (maybe 96 or 97). holy crap id say we hit about 160 or so but it was good times. btw we crushed the supra and we had 2 people in the car.
