Who's fault was that? - I cant decide between Räikkönen trying to get ahead to early and Barrichello.

Schumi

It wasn't Barrichello's fault.Barrichello didn't make a ggod start and Raikonnen tried to stay in the road and he pushed Barrichello in the middle of the road.In the other side Ralf tried to stay away from Alonso in the other side of BMW and he pushed Barrichello in the middle too.I think that was a real racing collision without faults from anybody.

The judges decided that it was Ralf's mistake, and in the next race he will start from whatever place he takes +10...

Anyways, Barrichello should have let Raikkonen go ahead because he started better. I got pissed off wih that crash because I am a fan of Kimi.

WHAT SHOULD HE DO?????Push the brake???There was a race.Noone can brake in these situations...Anyway that was Ralf's fault and the judges punished him...We will see in the next race. What if Ralf will take the pole???Will he start 10th???

yeah hes dropped by 10 places - so if he qualifies first he starts tenth.
Williams is appealling the decision, but even as a Williams fan i dont see their point, Ralf was wrong, although the ferrari's poor start was waht started the whole incident.

Yeah...
BTW, if he qualifies 1st shouldn't he start 11th?? (1+10=11)

Ferrari problems are two:Tires and launch control...Never in this championship Schumacher or Barrichello made good starts. And the tires is obvious...

Hey schumi , don't know or Ferrari's Launch Control is thaty bad!
Don't forget the BRIDGESTONE'S are VERY bad! SO they don't have the traction ike the michelins!

But it's strange i thought much electronics like launch control were forbidden since England? hmmmm...

About that excident , i think R. Schumacher was indeed the most quilty man! And ABSOLUTLY NOT Rubens Barrichello!

Agree.

Bridgestones arent that bad. Its just they're not as good as michelins in really warm weather. e.g. Bridgestone dont have the early understeer problem that michelins have.

Schumi
Aug 09, 2003, 2:13 PM
I think that's Ferrari's problem and then Bridgestone's...

I think Bridgestone is THEIR prob , If Ferrari would drive next race on Michelin tghey would win the race easy! pff seen last race?

Not normal anymore!! If Schumi didn;t blew that brodgestone i know he would be the world champion!

Schumi

That was unluck! That's not Bridgestone's fault for me!Every tire would blow in these terms! In the end,I don't know what to expect from this championship!

thats totally wrong. And naive to think you can swap tires amkes about on cars - the F2003-GA would not perform better on Bridgestone tyres - purely because the 300 million pounds ferrari spend in one year is spent on developing a bridgestone specific car.

Also why do know Michael Schumwould win the title over the extra points he would have got if his tyre didnt blow out?! We're just halfway in the chamionship and look how many twists we've had - you cant make a prediction like tyhat over something so (relatively) minor.

uhm Mallon we have just 4 races to go!

And if Schumacher didn't blew his tyre than his lead was that big that he could be 2nd, 3rd , or even 4th EVERY race and then he still would be the world champion , because of that new Points table there isn;t a big diffrence in points anymore between 1st or 2nd place!!

And the Ferrari would absolutly perorm better on Michelins!!
The Tyre is a SUPER IMPORTANT thing on the car 1 of the most importantst!!
Look to the top 20 The last ten are bridgestone's and the first ten are michelins!!
With sometimes only Ferrai in the top ten!

I hope they'll change from tyres next year!!

I hope that GOODYEAR will be back!!!Hehe.Just like I said above that was unluck with the blown tire!

mallon
Aug 15, 2003, 7:05 PM
alfa i aint dening that - i think michelins are better by quite a margin. But if you where to put Michelins on the F2003-GA you would not get a performacnce increase since the car has been developed to suite the bridgestone qualities.

Id like to see Goodyear come back too!

hmm i think the Ferrari will be about a sec faster with the michelins! than with those bridgestones!

Yeah Good Year have to come back!
But i want to see MORE tyre maques in the F1!
Like : Pirelli , Vredestein ect. especially PIRELLI!!!

Finally, Ralf will not have to start 10 places back. He will just pay 50K dollars, that's all, and he will take his normal starting position.

mallon
Aug 22, 2003, 8:02 AM
yeah that was the outcome of the appeal - he was just lucky that it happened just before the 3 week break, if it had been any other way the appeal wouldnt have finished in time and he would have started 10 places down.
Glad he didnt though :D

Schumi
Aug 22, 2003, 5:50 PM
