No. The only way it could be slower than the atom is if it was heavier than a CSR260, but as stated, its lighter. So its faster than atom. So that puts the caterham in league with the likes the Enzo and carrera gt.

That thing must haul ass. I've driven a Nissan Armada with like 370hp and even that huge tank hauled ass, and this thing weighs like what, a fifth of that?

Now I really like the Caterham. This thing is going to be a slot car most definately. And its going to be quick as hell.

I guess it has better acceleration than 3s to 100km/h ;o crazy power for this weigh. It looks similar to all other caterham seven.

Wow i'd love to see this in a shootout against the Atom. But it doesn't seem to look very radical like the Atom. But I suppose its a bit more luxurious than the Atom.:p And goes quick at the same time.

So in essence this thing will own almost anything on the road from a 0-60. Its weighs friggin less than the old Caterham!! I wonder when Clarksons getting his hands on one of these. I doubt it would be funnier than the Atom review... wrinkled skin dangling about. HILARIOUS

Seriously, it's a track day pawner! Hope they will drive this and lap the faster than track kings like Radical. I actually like Cross Bow more but then, this thing makes me go 'wow'! I hardly give a 'wow' to car these days. ;)

Woah, this thing is the beast! and 330bhp? that is radical. Although the looks don't attract to me as much, (it does look like a total 1950's design), it has that amazing performance graph of its. And that pic of it looks pretty long too, but anyway that performance is just totally awesome.

Well if you think about it, 330hp isin't much, but when you strap that engine into a lightweight chassis and a car that weighs around as much as an F1 car, thats amazingly fast! this think will be a good competitor to an Atom, could even beat it as well! It's also looks good too, i like it in black.

well its just a concept car, its probably not going into production and i dont think it looks that good, after seeing the Atom, a competitor of the Caterham, the Caterham rather looks dull and weird, and i dont quite like it...

but well, 330hp is alot in a car like this, its light, they used carbon fibre almost everywhere, they try to shave weight off from anywhere they could find, its just awsome...damn! i want to see it, just wondering why its called the X though

I'm not really sure I like Caterhams, even ones that would be monstrously fast like this. I've heard that the Seven gets 0.7 cd value in the wind tunnel (correct me if you've heard differently). I would be scared to go fast in something like that.

The only probelm with caterhams is downforce, there basically isn't any, so at higher speeds it can't put its power down, but the atom is in a near identical suituation, and it manages to run circles around big supercars. So this, with 30hp extra and a tad more weight probaly should do the same.

I know its a concept, but its a birthday concept, and the amount of intrest that will be shown for a superbeating caterham will be immence. Come on, how could caterham not put it into production.

probably, but the Atom also has an option to have a spoiler on it, its not stock, probably because an average car driver wont get that fast in cities, but yea, theres an option to have a spoiler on the car

This really is very fast..It will beat very very tough opponents in the track.330ps are enough for this car because it has minimum weight.Well it's like a thunder.Awesome car.It was made to go only in tracks.
