I think it looks interesting, I'd definitely prefer this to a 4 door Panamera.

Its okay.:| he Panamera looks a whole lot better. I just want to see a different kind of Porsche with 4 doors no 2 all the time. You know what I think this is supposed to be a new Porsche 928 coupe I have been heaing rumors about...:-k

yuk...the CLS is still the best 4 door coupe IMO...after all...that's the car that started the whole "4 door coupe" style.

I voted "horrible" not because I really think so, but because I don't even see it as "ok".
first of all it's only a speculation, and that picture is mainly a potoshopped Carrera with an elongated nose, 911 Turbo front and Cayman headlights. Porsche put their engines in the fron only when... there's really no other way. I don't see why they'd go mess up with the 6 series and the CL. at least not now. but then again, I could be wrong.
anyway, if this turns out to be true, the hatchback Porsche isn't far away. and that's bad. very bad.

I can't wait to see the actual cars. It's kind of exiting knowing that there's something totally new coming from Porsche since the Boxter. Even though the 911 and Boxter/Cayman are great cars, the Porsche lineup has been long overdue.
I also find it funny that you guys still judge cars based on their artist renderings. I think you should've known by now that the production car never looks like that.
That's just kinda dumb to me... like repeatedly touching the same electric fence that has shocked you many times before.:-k

Ugly as hell and I didn't find the Cayenne that ugly.
I think you can get a fair view from the spy-shot pictures, a bit like a women who isn't made up to look terribly nice but you can see how they could 'scrub-up' if they were making an effort. When the Audi R8 spy-shots were coming out, I had very mixed views about the looks of the car. I could see potential and thought lets wait and see for the finished product. However the Panamera spy-shots are just plain ugly. I am really struggling to see how they can make it look any better when it offiicially debuts, although as you say lets wait and see.
It is refreshing to see car companies working on the engineering first and the design second. Maybe not everyone agrees with me.

WCF imo is not a reliable source

Actually not, as much as i would love to tell you Mercedes-Benz took credit for the 4 Door Coupe it was actually the Rover P5 that started the whole 4 door coupe. ... Which imo is impossible, coupe = two doors, its just a marketing gimik.

Hmm, i think the Porsche GT coupe looks a little ugly in my opinion. The front bumper looks very similar to the one on the 911 turbo but more wider and uglier. But the whole body shape is very smooth and sleek. It looks pretty long too and the rims aren't too bad either. It's a pretty average car...

Anyway, I just think this is just plain horrible. it just looks so stretched out with the long bonnet and the unessecary long body/window designs to it. the rims looks fine to me, nothing really wrong with that, but theres nothing else i can really say because it just looks really bad.
why cant porsche just try something new? all these past years they have just been making these types of models with the '911' and the '997' and all those crap similar looking models. I just want to see somthing new, creative, and looks/performs good.

saw that yesterday on WCF and it was horrible, firstly, its just like another porsche carrera with a special bodykit, all porsches except for the cayenne or the ones before were two doors, coupes...so that means that VW or Porsche is running out of idea to get a name for their cars...this is probably the car that is going to be produced after the porsche 998 or 999...its like the 997 already...
but well, its horrible

I don't understand how you can disguise a GT in an SUV. If you look closely, the driver is sitting high, just like in a normal Cayenne, he wouldn't be sitting that high in a GT. I don't understand how test-mules are made but a GT hidden under that SUV looks unlikely to me.
My guess would be an ultra powerful Cayenne. Could be called the Cayenne RS.
Or a serious SUV coming from another maker. Lamborghini springs to mind.

well the Cayenne Turbo S is out, so probably its either not the coupe and its the panerama, whatever it is called or its just a normal cayenne with ricer bodykits on...and yea, i dont understand it at all too, i mean, the panerema is used in the M5 as a test mule, and now a coupe that has been dusguised in a high up SUV...damn porsches nowadays

Upon setting my sights on that picture, I can only wonder to myself, "What the hell is happening to Porsche?!". Porsche used to be one of my favourite marques because they produced nothing but quality sports cars like the 911, Cayman, Boxster(yes, boxster) and even the Carrera GT. Now we're getting GTs, SUVs, and 4-door sedans.

well the Cayenne Turbo S is out,
Nah, they haven't made a Turbo S for the facelifted Cayenne yet. I doubt it's a Turbo S because this car is said to be seriously fast.
I'm seriously thinking Lambroghini SUV. The company is on a roll with sales up 30%, turnover up 43% and pre-tax profits up by a staggering 311%. They procuded 2087 cars in 2006 whereas it used to be more like 250. They're making great cars and bringing in the $$$...

I voted OK looking, as I think it is. The front lights are like a Cayman, but the rest of it kind of reminds me of a 599 GTB Fiorano?

Am I the only one thinking that this is quite nice looking? Think of it from a neutral point of view, and pretend it doesn't have a Porsche badge. I guarantee a few of you would re-think what you initially said about this car. Just because it's from Stuttgart doesn't mean you have to snuff up your noses to it. I personally think it has a lot of potential; it has good lines and an overall good body shape. It may be against the RR configurations of traditional Porsches but it could turn out to be a very good car.

I don't really like it much at all. I think that the engine stretches out to much. I had not read the article yet but if it is not a front engine layout then that is just stupid. The engine goes out so far, it kind of reminds me of the bmw z4.

the only "reliable" photoshop views are the ones that come up a few monts before the actual and official release of a car (and even then...), based on spy photos and computer-erased disguises. the others are just plain speculation and are subjective views of an artist/car specialist. nothing more. it has been said ^^)

Photoshop are 90% of the time not like the real thing. Spyshots are more reliable in that way.

Okay, it looks like Porsche is trying to compete with Ferrari's 599 GTB. The cab resembles the 599 (as prevoiusly stated) and the front looks like a Viper or a SLR 722 (without the vents).
Stupid Porsche, stick to what you know. RACING, and high end sports cars, like Carrera, Cayman, and Boxters (all 911 GT's included).

Your all smoking crack, that thing has great curves. Sure the mouth is just a little bit big for the frame compared to most porsches, but they were trying to make it look aggressive.
Sure its a long hood, its a GT.
Porsche hasnt let us down yet, cept with mabey the VW porsche, but weve forgotten about that after a few too many drinks right ?
