This is not really a crash, but more of a fender bender. A 300,000 pound fender bender.

I just don't understand how the Enzo totaled the Golf, but after hitting a bus and that same Golf, the Enzo looks "ok".

Either way, yet another beauty hurt.

From most Enzo crashe i read about... in all them, one thing comes around: the driver lost control.
This may look a conspiracy theory but... to me, Ferrari had made a few mistakes on their supercar... there are too many crashes for this kind of supercar.
probably this crash isn't the best for suporting my theory but... what do you think, guys?

^its not Ferrari's fault, if it was they would have been recalled by now, i can assure you there is no flaw with Ferrari, only a flaw with the people who drive them, and the people who drive around them. Almost all collisions are caused by human error, thats a fact.

If you have the money to get and the exige to be able to get an Enzo, this is no problem, just a few months with out your favorite toy.

If some how you do not fall into this class and own the enzo (rare) you're pretty much screwed.

Enzo = most famous for supercar crashes.

I'm like totally use to having an Enzo getting trashed. Who cares if those rich a$$ trash their cars; good for them if they can repair it because WE DONT CARE. Not like we'd be able to afford one in our lives unless someone wins the powerball in US.

Oh no, not another Enzo crash. It's nice to see that it can be repaired but it's gonna cost a hell of a lot of money, the owner better have deep pockets. The Enzo looks ok, the major damage is only on the right side of the car, mostly in the diffuser, front bumper and the headlight which completely fell out!

May 25, 2007, 3:10 AM
Woah, that is one crazy crash. It doesn't look that bad though, only a few scratches along the side and the right part of the front bumper gone, with the headlight... Lol.. :p and just look at the rear tire and rim! It's been ultra badly wrecked....! the rear rim's part has fallen off and the tire is a flat one......

But darn, it hurts to see wrecked beauties!

well, one of the Enzo crashes was when it understeered...cool, lol

whatever, so they are like paying half of the Enzo to him, probably, exterior damage, it looks like that every panel has to be replaced or repainted, and then the complicated parts...

whatever, if hes really that rich, buy one more, keep the wrecked one in the garage....oh damn, they dont sell Enzos anymore...do they? and its limited...ugh...whatever

the bus is in nice condition id say

^Thats not a predudice statement at all, there are very nice people out there who have more money than you and i will ever see, and are fine people, judging someone by their money is just wrong.

This is not a new crash, I've heard/seen about this atleast a few years ago. I saw it on a website called wreckedexotics.com

Heres a link to it.

Notice: "Wreck happened on December 10, 2004"

The accident happened in December 2004, yards from Mr Mountain’s mansion in Burley, Hampshire.

I don't think so..The repair cost is huge[-X .
I think that he sold it and took a new car..

When's the last time anyone have seen a Carrera GT crash ? Or Ford GT Crash ? Or even Sagaris crash ? Seem like only Ferrari cars have bad drivers..

May 25, 2007, 3:36 PM
The people who can afford to buy enzos shouldent be allowed to drive them, its a F1 car, and they couldent drive a shopping cart half of the time.

Im not sad, the Enzo isnt even that great of a Ferrari, sure its fast and rare, but its as nice looking as some.

Ferraris are status symbols anyways, why make one that is so..."functional".

If it was their fault... would they really recall their best super car ever? they had a reputation...
I agree with you in some points but... there are too many crashes of enzos, are all drivers careless?... could even be a cursed car, probably from enzo... because no mater how good this car is... is damn ugly :)

Alot of cars are more forgiving than the enzo, and the ones that arent are sometimes more rare or less popular, and are therefor less likely to fall into the hands on non-hardcore car enthusiasts, not to mention more on the road = more % of crashes.

Wow, it was Frank Mountains! Sheesh, he won't be a very happy chappy after this incident. (He's the guy who owns Michael Schumacher's F1 car, and who knocked the wing off an MC12 at an icy British racing circuit). Sure, it can be repaired, but that's a hell of a lot of money he had to spend to get it back into good condition.

well lets clear a few things up here

1. The Ferrari Enzo is not the best super car ever.

2. They would recall the Ferrari Enzo if their was a critcal problem with it, or they would not be doing any business in the United States, which would be suicide for their company; in fact they would get worse publicity recognising a problem and not fixing it than recalling the car all together.

3. Ferrari has such a big history recalling a car would not hurt their reputation.

and correct me if i'm wrong, all the Enzo crashes have been proven to be from human error.

The gun doesn't kill you, the shooter does.

Theres plenty of supercar stacks, this was posted earlier...
http://www.wreckedexotics.com/enzo/enzo_20041210_003.shtml

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of supercar crashes seem to happen in town ? The temptation to drop the throttle when there's loads of people about must be too much for some people. Lol Imagine how embarrasing it would be acting the smart ass and flooring it only to stack it and wreck your pride and joy in front of a crowd

im so tired of reading bullshit like this from ignorant asses like yourself, so people with plenty of cash shouldnt drive an enzo, then who should? you? dont make me laugh.

how does their bank balance reflect their driving skill? i would really like to see you drive a enzo or lp640 or something similar round town, i really would, then when you spin into a lampost i will say jackasses shouldnt drive to you,

LOL, the bus driver claimed it wasn't his fault, how on earth was it not his fault, rofl.

I like how people are saying they don't desevre to own enzo's, just because they can afford one. you plonkers, every enzo owner was chosen because they did desevre one, lol.

Keyword TO BE the best ferrari. aaaaaaand it was one of a few, not the best. It was fast, cool, and hot and all, but it got stripped of its title when the FXX was made, as well as the 599GTB and others.

The FXX is not a road car

I think if you ask a true ferrari enthusiast, the F40 is the best by far, I don't think the enzo is in the same league

But in the end it comes down to personal preference, imo the enzo is damn ugly, I'd take a 355 or F40 over it any day

Interesting how you always hear about Enzo crashes but the Porsche Carrera GT has never crashed by accident. I wonder if people get over confident in Ferraris. But I'm guessing these crashes are just a coincidence. As for the bus driver, he's an idiot, and if that was my car I'd be pretty pissed off too and would want the bus company to pay for the damages. Why should he have to pay for someone elses stupid mistake?

lol if that crash had been near my house, id run outside and steal every bit thats come off the car, it'd be on ebay before you can say 'enzo crash'.

also, people are saying about ferraris making people 'over confident'
if you were in a 600bhp supercar that sounded like a continents cracked in half, then you would get quite excited and confident....
