My dad owns a 86' jetta GL with sweet old school GTi wheels. i love that car cuz' theres NOTHING power in it no ABS no power stering and its a five speed, its sooooooo much fun to drive, just you and the road. I want to get a pic for my aviator.:cool:

ssssnake you use the viper for track use right? would the hard top not be more suitable for the track? is there much difference in weight / handling in the softop and the hardtop? also those wheels compliment the colour nicely, also has it been lowered? and if so is it stock shocks with aftermarket springs?

it's a friends garage where i work on my car. i'm not sure what you mean by "the deal", but i'll try my best.

those are some spare 17" street tires we have. the engine in the foreground (bone stock usdm 4g63 w 120,000 & horrible compression) still chained to the hoist was just pulled out of my car. then engine in the background (jdm gvr4 4g63 with est. 30,000miles, new valve seals, ARP head studs, cometic Head Gasket) on the stand was one that i was working on before swapping it in. winter project '05. i didn't feel like pulling the stock motor and having to take the time to rebuild it, then drop it in. so i went and bought the vr4 motor, built it up slightly and just swapped the engines. i actually took that pic of myself, by myself. it's one of my favorites.

yeah thats a stock Eagle color combination from the factory. Dark Metallic Blue (T81) with dark grey ground effects, the fade between them is actually this pretty cool, 2" wide pixlelated decal that runs around the whole car.

the motor is from a JDM Galant VR4, not the 6 cyl 3000gt VR4, heh. squeezing that monster twin turb'd 6 cyl, and tranny into my car would be one tough (impossible?)project.

nova's have great bodywork and you still se a lot of them in a1 condition if looked after properly will last forever

Yeah it is good and the best part about it is the insurance is only like £360 a year and that is cheap for a 19 year old dude in the UK (as you know) !

Thanks man, i try hahah. Its the Carbon Black paint that looks a deep metallic blue in the sun and metallic black at the night. It always gets people, "I thought your car was black! No, it was always blue!"

I'm def going to get those chrome nostrils swapped for black ones,
but other than that i think im leaving it stock. I mean, for a full exhaust upgrade from SuperSprint, its going to cost me 8.5Grand!!! Headers, Race cats, X-pipe, and 2 Mufflers... whew.

The closest thing im getting is that $900 Active Autowerke forced intake and brake cooling in one kit thingy but that will be a while...
