I still say the GT-R 33 is the best looking, so far. I know this is just an opinion, but the 34's lines are too sratight. The way the wheel wells come out and are more pronounced on the 33 give it a more muscular stance and the headlights look more eeeevil :D The grille looks more sporty as well, I enjoy its silver mesh, I don't know if its metal or plastic, but its better than whatever the 34 has
PS I just thought I'd make this topic cause everyone else is discussing this on diffrent boards....alot!

I'm trying to like the R32, but it just looks so old. I know it's fast and everything, but it's so late 80's. It like the R33 the best. The headlights and curves are cool, but the tail is the coolest part. I couldn't tell you why, but it just is. The R34 is awsome, but it's nothing stellar. And i still think it's expensive.

the R33 and R32 are at the bottom. You'll know what they are when you seen them.

I'd go with the R34, the 33 is really nice, but the 34 just does it for me better, anyway, the 34 is faster, so I can always go back to that if I wanted to.

Yeah, the 34's faster and I'm pretty sure it handles a good deal better. But you know me, I love a car that needs some TLC to make it a potent asphalt eater. Anyway, people would think cause it's older, it wouldn't be as fast. It's always frun when you show them what some time and effort can do for a cars performance and blow away suckers who think thier outta the box boy-toys are the best just cause they can slay a few rickety msucle cars their friedns are still working on restoring. Any Skyline can be made to rule the road, so for me it comes down to looks.

Okay okay, 34s are nice, but they've been made public, so to speak, by hollywood and it wouldn't be as fun to blow unsuspecting citizens away. Anyone whos seen 2F2F will know that your not messing around. That is a secodnary attraction for the 33 for me. anyway, three is my lucky number, and it's in the name twice!

Hmm... I vote for the 34.

I think the R33 looks better, although the R34 looks more agressive ( the front, not the rear. ). The R33 looks more serious, i can't exactly explain why, but i just simply like it a bit better.

My vote is for the R33 series. Although the the R33 and the R34 have the same engine plattform (RB26DETT), the R33 sounds a bit furiouser.
The R34 lines are too aggresive and square. The R33 lines are very harmonius and clean.
About performance, I think that the cars definitely run in a tie with some tiny exceptions.
This two versions are the best for racing performance, as proved by the Unisia Jecs (R33) and the Arta Zexel (R34)
Anyways the R32 and the R34 are great sports cars. :)

Personally, I would take the R34, since it looks absolutely killer, stock or modified. The R33's problem is that it look waay too similar to the GTS-T. Just remove the wing and half of the people will think it is a GT-R. But I do agree that the R33 has the best tail lights.

not me. i can tell the diff between a gts and a gtr right off the bat. the difference is the front grill. on the r34-r33 the front grils have gaps that are more square then the gtr. and on the r32 the gts has peices of metel going though the grill.
r32 all the way may lok ugly-er. but since it is lighter it can go faster after tuning. think of it this way the further you go up in year the more luxery you get and more weight.
edit: crap didnt now how old this topic was. would have never posted. thought it said aug 02/2004 didnt see the year.[/i]

yes the front of the R34 is aggressive, and the R33 rear seems to be the best. So I got a plan, stick the front end of an R34 to the back end of an R33. The PERFECT SKYLINE. :smt003

Yeh, but most people don't know. I was just pointing that out. I can also figure it out fairly easily. Just look at the front bumper.

I like the R-32
I just think it looks more agressive. I dont like R-33 as much, So R-34 is second choice

The topic might be 1 year old, but IMO the discussion is not outdated. We can still talk about the aesthetics of the Skyline, and there's no other similar topic open, as far as I can remember. So I say let's keep it.

To me there is a clear difference on the whole front bumpers.

When you see one breezing past, you can't really see that clearly. Yes, there is a massive difference in the front bumpers, but considering how many people put GT-R badges on their GTS-T's, most people will ghet confused.

true true. Most people would. depending on the speed though. like 30-50MPH if i look prolly not. anything faster then that, then i am guessing it would hard.
this just a thought about the topc but should this topic be stickied? so it wont slowly end up at the bottom of the page?

You can't get a normal topic "stickied"... it would have to be sth really important. If ppl stop posting in it, then it means that there is no longer interest in it and it SHOULD go down the page. :)
Back on topic.
