My favorite concert was pinkpop 2003.
I went to 3 festivals in 2003. Lowlands, where I met bandmembers of System of a Down, Dropkick murphies and Floggin Molly, Rock Werchter where I met a lot of drunks and Pinkpop where me and my fiancee (at teh time) met the worst wether any festival had to offer.
36 degree centigrade in the sun one moment, showers causing 10" puddles of rain the next moment.

The great part about this festival was that I met a friend there who I hadn't seen in ages.
The lead guitar player of After Forever. We were invited backstage because of the terrible weather. Met even more neat musicians there. Even had a chat with the drunks of Deftones :p

Not to mention my fiancee being pretty impressed with the whole thing because she got to meet some of her idols of which she didn't know some were long time friends of mine.

Lifting weights. I dunno, it's more exciting. I went to the gym for a few months, but then had enough. If I had a friend near my level to bike with I could bike all day to somewhere. I'm a real tropper when need be. The rest is sleepy time. Hehe.

About the boards, I actually cruise both, not a longboard anymore though, I made it myself, painted it white and Zebra striped the grip tape. I snapped it through the middle somehow. Damn they fun to ride, stable, balanced, fast.

The mini decks however, well, do the same thing pretty much, minus stability and balance, plus risk/danger!! Damn they're fun though, both my current mini decks are from Ekka (show thingy) showbags with my longboard wheels and trucks, should have my own wood built mini board finished Wednesday, maybe. I'll take pics. I'm think of making this stenicl and cutting it out from the grip tape.

Anyone else here ever surfed?

Only surfing I ever did was kite surfing on a skateboard through the city centre of maastricht.
People hated me for that, especially police. Then again, those did not like me to start with due to my stupid questions.

Surfing, along with kayak belongs to extremely dangerous sport arts to me. Can't swim.

I wonder if there would be more people on this forum that can't swim. So far I only know two. Me and the guitar player of a band called After Forever.

Whoa, that's some diversity for ya. You'd be an outcast here if you couldn't swim. I guess Germany doesn't exacly exude a beach lifestyle.

I can swim, I'm not too bad either, but it's boring as hell, that's why I manipulate swell with 8.2 feet of fibreglass doom.

I've had my thigh basically punctured by a shortboard before, bruised by longboards and been hit a few times in the head by some big mals. I seem to be doing ok. The surf rage here is out of hand, I'm glad I surf in a longboard heaven away from most tempered shortboarders and douche bag hardcore bodyboarders.

I'm a wiki addict! Apart from official band websites it's perfect for band information because they're usually written very well indepth by fans. Rarerly will you see a biased article, they'll remove 'em if they are anywhere. Plus wiki articles have so many accurate and informative links about the articles too.

Basically, It's all in the same place where google will give you links to various sites etc. and some seem pretty shoddy.

Usually wiki is very accurate but when a topic has one of those warnings about accuracy, particularly with religion based topics, it's just more interesting.
