I disagree. I would have to say the drums are easier at first. the fretboard on guitars is harder to learn then you think. trust me I have played both.

1: first it takes a week before you fingers can grow calluses ( dead skin piled on top of a body part ) and trust me you need calluses if you want to play with drums you need calluses to but NOT as bad as a guitar TRust me you will find out why now.
2: surpriseingly enough holding down a string on a fret board really HURTS you fingers with out calluses. I mean when you hold the non fat strings on a guitar holycrap the fine then strings ( the black strings on the picture ) feel like they are peircing through the skin
3: when you start to play you cant hold down a string without muting a nother for crap.
4: even when you can hold down a string with out muting a nother you fingers slide around.
5: putting your finger as close to the fret bar is very hard at first. you allways seem to jump a fret or mis fret the fret you are trying to hold.
6: the guitar is WAY harder then it looks when you try to do solos.
7: moving to diff locations on a fret board is hard. trying to move three fingers into a diff area on the fret board not hard. but to do it in time is hard.
8: starting to run out of reasons.
9: momentum hand eye coordination is the key. when you see people play with their eyes closed while looking up it takes som mad skill to do that.

well there are more reasons but I am done. I am not saying the drums are easy. but when you actually get the fret board mastered on a guitar ( takes 2-5 years ) then all you have to do is learn how to move faster and learn more chords and tabs.

for those who do not know what a fred board is this is it. Notice the bars on the baord. those are frets. and the dots on the baord to? these dots help a ton with the baord. this is one way people use a fretbaord they look at the dots for reference. learn the ASAP if you ever play.
