I was wondering what would be better I want more bass.

What is better 3-10" subs or 2-12" subs
The subs Im deciding between is Sony or Audiobahn.

well it really depend what you are listening to. if you listen to dance. i would go with 10. because they hit faster. than 12. but overall you can get 12, they are not that slow. and if you want every to hear you . go with 12.

oh yea and both brand of subs are not good

me too, their X-Plod is supposed to be very good... well, I am pretty sure it is, I know people who have it in their cars and they like it...

I actually recommmend some Kicker Subs instead of these and maybe some Cadence subs and well. These subs you have aren't the best.

Hmmm...ever had to drive 5 + hours on the highways??? You'd enjoy the extra, what, 15 lbs of stuff for some really good bass and clarity...Anyways...not trying to offend ya', but REGARDLESS, Clarion is my brand o' choice, and go with the 3 10's, they'll give you better acoustics, e.g. different spots...

I know what its like to drive mour than 5 hours, escpescially with parent were there only turn it up to were you can barely hear it. The way I need it is that people to hear before they see me.

That's just screaming out for trouble. I have so many friends that have had sound systems and even their car(!) stolen off them coz they cranked it so loud.

it all depends how much money are you willing to put in it. you need a wiring kit. a amp. 2 or 3 subs and a box. plus labor. i have some for sale. there are some better subs out there. just most of people dont' know it. like Xtant, Diamond, Phonix Gold. if you have any question post it. i will check i used to own coupld car Audio Video stores.

I know what you mean but around where I live all there are are rusted POS cars that shouldn't even be on the road. So I already got a good car for around where I live just need people to know when I'm coming.

where are you guys? if you are close to me see my car then i have 2 1400*1 Phonix gold amp pushing 2 12 inch titianm sub. with a pansonic in dash dvd player. and headrest tvs. maybe i am in a different class or something i guess

oh cool i got a shop fiber glass the trunk and the dash for me after labor day. you might see it in shows but i am sure which ones i am going in though... it's crazy. the fiber glass and labor is like 9000. then the TVs, subs, amp, exc, are like 20000. i will sent some pic when it's done.

I would choose a type r alpine or jbl. But i wouldn't make to much out of it. Too much bass can ruin your car in time. I've seen it myself. I would take the extra money and spend it on performace parts, exterioir kits and so on. I'm happy with an Mp3, 8 good speakers Infinity or so and amp and a medium sub. I like to race more not to slouge around slowly listening to music. Manytimes i found myself turning off hte music just to hear the engine speaking to me. But that's just me....
