Sports car in perfection
There are cars and dream cars. The latter includes Lamborghini’s Gallardo, Ferrari’s F430 or Porsche’s 911 Turbo. These cars make your heart beat faster and show the perfected magic of speed on the roads. Abt Sportsline’s R8 will also be among these outstanding super sports cars and is getting ready to overtake them in the prestige duel.
The design studies already show the first impressions of Abt’s sportiest creation – and prove that the Kempten-based tuner manages to perfect an excellent serial model like the R8 to detail and accentuate its racing genes already in the drawing. The front of the Bavarian R8 shows the marked Abt face. Together with the unique and beautiful rear with its four inclined arranged exhaust end pipes, the rear diffuser and the extravagant rear wing, the front of the Abt R8 is part of an overall concept that brings about phenomenal roadholding. The add-on parts of the super sports cars from the Allgäu-region improve downforce and ensure perfect balance of the front and rear axis. This is especially notable in speed ranges reserved for only a few cars. The sideblades which were developed especially for the Abt R8 and the Abt side skirts give the Abt R8 a new and individual design besides aerodynamical advantages. The aerodynamically efficient Abt body kit, which also includes carbon-fibre parts, is a real eye catcher but also shows the state-of-the-art Bavarian precision work. With the ingenious construction, which also includes a carbon-fibre bonnet, not only a maximum reduction in weight is achieved but it also ensures optimized weight distribution of the Abt R8 – the pure presence of the model athlete already shows this.

Technology and design milestones do not only come from Maranello or Sant’Agata-Bolognese but also from Kempten. The Abt R8 will be a gorgeous dream car with the genes of a top-class race car. This special automobile will belong to one of the fastest among the fastest; the Abt R8 will also challenge the Lamborghinis and Porsches. With regards to the anticipated performance data the Bavarians are traditionally discreet. But this data already amazes sports car fans and makes them want to spur the hot-blooded Bavarian horses. 530 HP (390 kW) are to be drawn from the 4.2 litre-V8 thanks to the Abt supercharger. Compared with the serial model which already shows impressive performance data this means an increase of 110 HP (81 kW). The brand new Abt 20-inch BR wheels stylishly transfer this power onto the asphalt. The all-wheel-drive dream car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 317 km/h. These values are synonymous with magic and this extraordinary super sports car desperately wants to be driven. By means of the Abt suspension which is adjustable in height, pressure and rebound, the performance and driving comfort of the super sports car can be adapted perfectly to the requirements of its driver.

this is simply MAD!!!

Its is UUUUGLY the colour couldn't have picked a worse one rims nice but not in orange, spoiler doesn't go with the car and the logo on the back is to big

Need For Speed brung into real life...

this is just too mad! i cant stand it! its too beautiful that its getting on the ugly side, the front first, the bumper is okay, but i would prefer the stock one but with that middle part of the ABT bumper, the hood looks pretty cool i reckon, then the middle part, i guess the carbon fibre part as ruined by that big fat vent, but it looks pretty cool on its own, then the rear, the vents! the rear bumper has too much vents! it somehow reminds me of the bottom part of the M3's rear bumper, but on this, its ugly, the rear diffuser looks good, and those exhausts looks pretty good as well, and that spoiler, it wold look pretty good on other cars but not quite on this, then...the rims, ehh, too ricey, but they do look quite nice, i think...beh, looks pretty good...

That's CRAAAZY but I love it. Wow. Just look at that! Mad orange paint, crazy bumpers, carbon fibre on the bonnet, customised side skirts, a wing on the back, differently aligned exhausts, different rear bumper aswell, 20'' rims! 530bhp and, give or take, a 200mph top speed, it's gonna be one crazy car which I cannot wait to actually see. These drawings look great, can't wait for the real thing.

Better with another color

Just when I thought the stock R8 looked awsome, this is mind boggling!:eek: But I'm not to big on the color it would look beter in like a dark silver.

If they chose different wheels for this, then I would be amazed. That's the only thing I see that doesn't appeal to me. Other than that, the spoiler looks better when looking at the rear of the car.

The front is still ugly, ugh...I just don't see how it looks good, at all!
The back, however, seems to be a big improvement, it looks great, doesn't looks 'overdone' at all.

I like it !!! Maybe needs to be toned down abit tho !!! But still looks gud !!!

Far Out, this car is just awesome! It has beautiful orange paint, an aggressive body kit and carbon fibre everywhere! It's an orange monster!:D The only thing i don't like about this car is the side and the rims. They ruined the side with that fugly vent and the rims are just too orange. But overall this car is M.AD.:D

I think this thing is terribly ugly. I'd actually be sad if I saw one to just know how gorgeous it was stock, and how disgusting it is now.

im not really sure what you meant there but its not real, its just sketches, you could easily spot that because of the lightings, they look absolutley weird, atleast it is for me.

Lose the rims, make the bodykit less extreme, and you've got a winner IMO...

looks bloody amazing! i love the colour and the wheels, the new bodykit, exhausts etc; it's made the already-super-sexy R8 even sexier! and that's sexy! i love the sound of a 530bhp supercharged 4.2 V8, too. sub-4-second 0-60 time, 200mph top speed... nice!

excellent car!!! I just love the new changes to the front and rears, and the orange paint just makes it stand out even more. excellent design, and those rear taillights just look amazing... wow, all i have to say is that its a brilliant car.

I reckon it did, I thought that there was more madness and power to be extracted from that 420hp V8.

I see little reason for this car. The R8 is fine as it is. But then again, like any other supercar, it was due for a ruining.

R8's are sick, I love Audi!
The car will look so good on the road, its outrageous!, and performance to match, plus the sound that must make, if its anything near as good as the standard R8 ( which i drove !!!) then move over ,, Superleggera,,lol
