Youd rather have the viper ? Or the Porche that gets rolled ?
Personally I would rather have the viper too, but the Porsche will definintly turn more heads.
Vipers are no strangers to drag, a Porsche on the other hand is a rare sight.

lol I meant the Viper. They're much more exclusive than Porsche's IMO, even though it's a Dodge. How many Vipers do you see compared to Porsche's?

Depends on the Porsche, if your talking a 911 or carrera, or a 4S or even a GT.
Id say the base Porsches are pretty common, but the nice ones are about as rare as vipers (more for the GT and 4S).
You see a decent number of vipers in houston I know of atleast 10-15, but Ive only seen one 4S and one GT.

Porsche's are very common around here...including 911's. But I rarely ever see a Viper on the street.

Damn.. that's a sick 911. I wonder what the time would've been with a decent launch. When he backs off for a second then punches it I can only imagine what that would feel like.

vipers are friggin awesome. would be happy to drop cash on one if i had that kind of money..
.. going back to the topic, can any car easily do what that porsche did if you add enough power to it?

Holy $h*t, now that is super fast! Look at it launch! How come it doesn't have a wheelie bar? It could have flipped, and as you cam see, it was skidding on it's exhausts! Anyways, cool 911, hearing the turbos spool up is just amazing.

Notice he ran pretty slow because he was having trouble getting hooked and even then he let off when he got his nose too far in the air, but even still he hits a 10 with 140 MPH coming through.
If he actually hook and hammered that thing with some bars he would be on par with alot of American hardcore drag.
And yes almost any decent sized car with the proper rubber and engine can run like a jackhammer, its just a little more impessive with the Porsche, I would really like to know whats in it engine wise, obviously turbos... anyone know anything about this car ?
EDIT: reading the comments I found this :
"That was a horrible run...10.7 at 140 mph, at that mph a good driver should be doing 9.7's....There is guy named RANGER on the corvette FORUM, he is well know, holds the world record on a 07 stock C6 Z-06., we talking stock as in stock to the factory air filter. On street tires he gone, 11.2's a@127 mph..With drag radials he has gone 10.85@129mph. His vid is on YOUTUBE.. "
I think it might be a six, it certainly doesnt sound like an 8.

Yae the Vipers are pritty rare in Belgium, you can buy them pritty easy but not a lot of people wanna drive them, Belgium has this lazy road taxes on cc's and stuff and you basicly pay a fortune in insurance and aparantly they are not so good on the european roads, about 10 min from my home there is this big second hand dealer, and one of the salesman crashed a Viper on twisty bit of road about 2 months ago.

Holy f*ck that's a fast car. Is that a 993 generation? But crap that was fast, just listen to the engine just roar, and the front goes up, plants it again, it's off, brilliant video.
@Nova, that Viper is utterly desirable!

power is nothing without control thats why vipers, camaros and cars of that sort stink no matter how much horsepower you give them forget build quality besides the first viper had a dodge pickup engine in it how great can that be
