there were two drivers, i think they had to engines, one per driver in front and back, each engine controlling two wheels, which is why the car was straight at some points but, the wheels were in opposite directions, thats my theory anyway

The car on this video is Fiat 126p very popular in Poland. It has rear engine and RWD. They have made that the back wheels can turn and added second steering wheel and whole steering system. So in the car there are two drivers(somewhere from the middel of video) , one driver can turn front wheels and the second one the back wheels. That gives them ability to drive sideways.

yes, in a Tiger Avon, also wheelspun around a roundabout in an Elise, oh and a tiny bit of drift in a porsche 996 carrera4s, i was originally referring to the Tiger though, and then remembered the other 2 smaller lateral motions after i wrote it :P (and obviously i was the passenger in all 3 cases, but soon i'll have a go myself :twisted: )

Those guys should either get jobs as engineers at car companies, or a nice padded cell...
I haven't made up my mind on whether that was brilliant or insane... 8)
