My buddy just got his first car and its a 90' Mazda MX-6 and we were driving around and he thinks that he is such a bad ass cause he can shift gears. anyway, he pulled up to a stock civic driven by some old guy and his wife . my buddy reved the engine and gunend it. he got all syked up and started yelling at the old guy calling him a no-driving jack a$$. I sat in shock. how could he be anymore of an a$$clown. i mean comone someone has been watching a little bit to much f&f.

Remember "Friends don't let friends drive drunk"??

Well, here's one for your friend, " :smt021 "...It's moron's like him that give guys like me a bad reputation...I have an aftermarket exhaust system, because I wanted better airflow....Ask him why he'd get one, and he'd no doubt say for the sound or extra 100 horsepower.

Driver training these days in alot of places is an issue, although none of us like the idea of high under 21s insurence its serving a purpose apart from lining corparation pokets

Its only because you are taught how to pass the driving test, not how to drive a car on the road properly, and a lot of young drivers have no respect for the power under the engine.

i know that, but i thought you meant when he crashed he was racing around or something, so if the father knew he was the racing type, why buy him a fast car, v. unsafe

You know, when I first got my license, I wanted a fast car and blah blah blah... my mom told me, "no, you need to learn how to drive first" And she was right, if I had driven a more powerful car than I could handle, I would have killed myself already. New drivers shouldnt get fast cars because you know what they are going to do the first time they get to drive alone or with their friends... Get a slower car, cheaper car, just in case you do get into an accident, it won't be a huge dent in your wallet.

I was reading through this little topic and found a couple of you found it funny that people die in a car crash. My cousin had a friend who was asian and his dad had just bought him a supercharged 4 litre XK8. Obviously he thought he was the man and while my cousin and two friens were in the back he crashed it into a lampost. All of the other three managed to get out unhurt while my cousin died. He also got of wothout getting locked up so plz dnt make jokes
