Porsches handle great, superb even. But I think everyone should own a RWD car with some power atleast once. Most people dont appreciate that a car can take corners at 90 MPH, but they all appreciate a car that can crush their organs to the seat. :-k

True... I have one of those too... lol. If you want to feel what a real racecar feels like, drive a mid-engine. Fiero's, MR-2's, and 914's don't count either! Although I really do like the new MR-2. It's not too bad for what it is.

I used to live right off I-75 and one summer night about 10 bikes come by, stop and line up then they drag race off the start... there were some cars following them behind... SAWWWWWWWETTT!!! I couldn't tell what was what because it was like pitch black...

dude, i just bought my tomahawk yesterday cuz i bribed dodge with 3 million dollars and i paid one million more for the bike and then i had them outfit it with anti-police missles then i had them put on bullet proof tires so i took it out on the road and saw how many cops i could pick up at 120mph. once i had about 90 on my tail i sped up to 280 mph and the cops were like "woah" and i was like "yeah" and then they tried to shoot me but i outran the bullets and then shot my missles at the cops and they all blew up and it was like "cool" but when i slowed down there was one cop left and he shot my camera which had the pictures showing the speedometer so sorry i have no pictures.

So i guess you didnt read my post very well its not fully stock. and not to mention the busa has been tested multiple times with minor tuning **** broke 205

Why Busa this Busa that? man here in Puerto Rico they are all over. modified and blahhhhhh. man those are piece of crap of bikes. There are a lot of bikes that can reach 200+mph but u need almost perfect conditions to do so.
MotoGP bikes and SuperBikes does reach the 204+ barrier but those are special bikes and profecional bikers that can make that happen. is kinda dificult to do that on open roads. look at the TT Isle whatever is called. those are road little modified bikes in way long straight. real road straights. and maybe 5 of like 30 bikes will reach the 200mph barrier cause its dificult to reach those speeds in a highly unstable machinery like the bikes.

that ghost rider dude is crazy. I know some dude who was doing wheelies, stoppies, and a lot of other crazy things on the STRIP!!! He's got like 10 APB's out for him. My favirote move is when he's going 110mph and stands up on his seat starts dancing and jumps right back on to his seat. Because of the torque that car had to be bogged down on a launch then ran hot on the top end to get the low E.T. My friend kept beating me, so I ended up stripping my car, and started running his pits.

My boss runs a Vega too, in super gas, 9.90 index, but the car's capable of high 8's off the stops. It makes it more competitive I know, but it looks strange seeing these tricked out race cars take off from the line so slow!

hey be nice about the harleys. Have two of them here, and used to be a bike mechanic. My old blue one is 103 cibic inches, and has never lost a dyno shootout,and is actually capable of about 140. Of course this is acording to the dyno. I am not stupid enough to try riding something with suspension that is that primative at that speed.
There is a 96 inch stroker kit for the v rod, and a turbo kit that has been putting the busa's in their place on the drag strip though. I don't know if you call the v rod a harley though. The drivetrane is made by porsche

My dad has a lot of friends that ride H-D's and none of like the V-Rod. Me personally, I think it's like yugo building a supercar! Not to compare harley's to yugo, but you get the point. Harley's are cruisers they have no business trying to compete with rice rockets... just my opinion

I bought a new harley this summer. I test road the v rod twice. I really wanted to like it. In the end I got a road king. I think that shows what I thought of them.

If you look at their marketing strategies the traget market is 63 year old men,with at least a BA degree, and an annual income of over $70,000. This is their figures not mine. Now a younger group is flooding the market. HD has to compete. Also new smog regulations are going into effect here in California. It is very hard to meet these new regulations with an air cooled engine. Harley just looked at where the market was going, and adapted. This is what has kept them in business since 1903. The v rod was only meant to enter the younger market, and showcase the new engine. The company is already testing a 117 cid version of the "revolution" engine in the larger touring bikes.

"Revolution" engines aren't even true to the H-D creed, but hey they can be sell-outs if they want to .

When all goes as planned I'll be mounting the FMIC and BOV this month and be able to increase power to 240 HP.
After that I'll be taking it to a track where I can top out on the speed (nordschleife, nurnburgring)

I took the old vette up to 100MPH a few weeks ago. I was coming home from the bar at 2am (I was the bouncer, not a patron, so I was not drinking). I noticed that I had let the speed get up to 85, so I just stuck it for the fun of it. I let out of it pretty quickly after that. This is the first time I have ever done that in this car, and have no desire to do it again. I was just screwing around on an empty freeway. I have to admit the car handled it very well, and it was fun

I'd assume citizen. Are you allowed to own a car when stationed in Germany? I bet that's a silly question. And why are so many soldiers stationed in Germany anyways? I bet that's another silly question.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to add that I did about 90 the other day on the bike. Very scary, and probably not very smart. It was in the mountians on this very straight, very empty road. The speed limit is 50, but I usually go 60. This time, however, I wondered how fast I could go before I couldn't take anymore. So I put it top gear, sank the throttle and watched the revs climb. 60....70.....80.....90. That's where I couldn't take it. The bike was at 10,000rpm, and the wind was so loud. And I thought to myself "if a car pulls out from one of those side streets, or if there is a new pothole, I'm toast". So I let off the throttle. I'd like to say that I was proud of going that fast, but I'm really not. I'm actually a little disappointed because I put myself in such danger.
