unmarked police cars do not have to be marked at all. We have a few camaro's, anda a yukon that look just like every other car on the road. dont even have permenant tags. The only way you can tell them apart is if you can see the blue lights mounted on the inside of the car when you get close. Which isnt easy because the windows are tinted.

Until you look at the interior. My mom had a FX45 Rental one time (when hers was in the shop), the interior is total crap.

It's half the price, so it's no big surprise, it also is a big revolution in styling imo. Anyways, fastest speed while in Albany, dunno. While living here, 121mph on I90, what can I say, girls and Friday nights have that effect on me.

The road I drive is in what is called Deer creek canyon and is widely known among local car guys. It's VERY challengeing and tests the limits of both the car and driver. There are about 6 different routes you can take and I mainly take the "upper loop" which gains over 3000 feet in elevation change in 6 miles. The total loop is 38 miles long and has just over 300 turns if I recall correctly. I do have an unfair advantage up there though that keeps much faster cars and better drivers WAY behind me.

I have been driving the road for more than 8 years. I know every bump, every turn, every switchback every strightaway and every off camber blind turn like I know myself. I have spent most of the time up there in a 300zx and know how the car reacts to the turns too.

On some turns I can throw my car into a complete drift. One turn is a left hand switchback with a guardrail on the opposing side. We have put a pop bottle on the guard rail and tried to grab it while going past it......never have managed to get my hand on it yet.

I'm gonna try out the small loop tonite to test out my lights. I rewired them so when I flip the brights on the low beams and foglights stay on so I have all 6 lights on at the same time.

I dont have a lot of money to juice into my car, so I play lots of racing games, but I know how he feels when he knows exactly how to do everything. It does not go below 100mph till i reach my school in upland witch is 69 miles away from were i live every now and then i will reach speeds of 122mph thats when car starts to cut out and slow itself down i think because of gov. :D :driving :smt023

I would not feel safe going that fast in a civic.

Your civic is probably topping out, but if it has a governor take it to a shop. They'll remove it there. And if you want better performance, go for new headers, exhaust, ECU tuning. Those are good places to start.

227HP stock...he mod to 500HP with turbo kits, intercooler, fuelmanagement, chip(unichip) and a lot of things more

Indeed, and I wouldn't even bother to twin turbo it. Single turbo maybe, but it won't be able to handle power upwards of 300 because of its FWD setup. I'd try to keep it N/A.

145 In my STI. It was after a night at the track and on my way home a heavily modded REX that I wanted to run against, but didnt get to, pulls up next to me. We were on a long, straight, 3 lane road when we ran. We started at about 55 and at 140-ish were coming over the top of a small hill. At that moment a street bike ran between the two of us so fast that I never saw it coming nor could I even tell you the color. It scared me so bad that I quickly slowed to a more reasonable speed. The little hill added to the fright as it made the car feel like it was floating as we came over the top.

As of Februaru (278 hp 303 peak tq)

This is with a full stage one kit.

I have also completely re-done the suspension with all after-market SPT parts so she rides a bit lower (1' 3/4" and about 25% stiffer)

The Japanese one was probably rated at around 276 HP, but it probably had 300 or more. The Japanese had a gentleman's agreement not to rate a car above 276. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

I would imagine he is talking about WHP numbers. BHP numbers mean little to most serious enthuisast's(sp)

All numbers were wheel horse power. Most dyno's will give you BHP equivalents if you ask, but those numbers are really only useful if you want to see what power you are losing from the crank to the wheels. Rarely do cars advertise the wheel horsies, it'smuch easier to tune to the crank.
