Well I haven’t driven a hole lot, being 15 and all, but the fastest I’ve been was in my uncles new Evolution 8, it was along the freeway, we where going about 230km/h (about 143mph), also the fastest I have driven, personally, wile off-roading, was about 4 months ago when my dad was teaching me to drive up sand hills in his old Series III Land Rover, we had to get a run up to get over a sand hill so we flattened the tiers and drove back about 100m then just flawed it, that old engine got a good workout that day, I got to 22km/h (14mph) on loose sand! The fastest I’ve driven on a road was in a Ford Festiva (yes I know how crap it is) travelling to Melbourne sitting on 110km/h most of the way but I got it up to about 140km/h before the engine started making weird noises. (Note: I was going up to Melbourne with my aunty and she said I could drive because she was tiered)

I've hit 165mph driving my buddies Subaru Impreza WRX with more mods then I could list in half an hour. In my own car, slightly modified Nissan Stanza I've been up to 130mph. However my fastest ride was on 2 wheels on a jetted and kitted and Kawasaki ZX-7 R at 175mph on the freeway. Nothin like the wind in ur face eh boys?

See I love my road, its straight and in a valley, and you can see if anything is coming (like the police), but I live about in the middle of it so i cant get the vehicle up that fast before i have to slow down to get in the drive way, but the fastest i have driven down my road was about 95mph

though i may be fifteen....i went, ready for this 200 in fouth gear in my 240 with my rb26 motor and coustem carbon fiber drive shaft that lets me rev up to eleven hundred rpm's thats my two cents

100MPH is not fast in any car. I have driven a dodge sprinter at 81MPH....because that's as fast as it goes. Feels pretty solid at that speed for a big brick.

I've gone 180 on a yamaha R1, ya it's a bike, but still that just makes it even scarier!

Fastest would be in my brother's '78 AM V8 Vantage- an indicated 260kph (just north of 160mph) both on French and German motorways- though I can't be sure of the accuracy. Given the car is pushing 30 and in need of some tlc, I held it there only briefly. Supposedly it's capable of 275/170ish- I'll wait for a thorough rehab. ;)

Overall, I have been over 100 MPH 3 times, and between 75-99, alot...

This was when I was living in California. I followed a friend of mine out to a lake bed, can't remember which one it was. Did several runs, and had the speed GPS verified. The stock speedometer is off by almost 5 miles per hour at 95. By 125 people say it's off by 9.

The only reason I dared to attempt it was because I had just installed a body kit, and underbody aero kit. Stock, the 996 would actually lift a bit in the front at 110 mph, and the rear spoiler would make things worse and start to get squirrelly. With the new front bumper and kit the car was extremely stable at high speed. Even at 200 mph it was very responsive. I ran out of road pretty quick!

ive had my dads camaro hit the governor at 170 mph....

theres median highway here with 3 lanes on each side that is completely straight for like 10 kms...

its in between counties, ive never seen a cop on it....people always top their cars out there...

i dont drive like that all the time...unless im driving neard my friends cars..i do 10 km over the limit at most...usually the speed limit around houses

on the highway depeding on how long my trip is, ill do 20km over the limit if its a medium-short trip

and if im driving for like 4 hours i usually do 140 in 110 zone, 120 in 100

the worst feeling you can have in a car is hitting the rev limiter at top speed, it sucks

My friend used to own a 3000GT, he explained this to me in detail.

I thing the later years of 3KGT's and stealths came with a 6 speed. His was a 92 5 speed though. POS cars in our opinions, but a great sports car in the snow.

he said well leave me the car for 3 days be prepared to pay in the ballpark of $1,200 an its done.

AWD sucks, but it's obvious you don't know this. Unless you drive in snow or are only concerned about 0-60 than AWD is for you. My friend had a 3KGT making over 500WHP and over 60 the drivetrain loss was so bad that I could easily walk him on the highway.

1-Dodge Viper SRT10-500bhp, top end 190
2-2005 Corvette-400bhp, top end, 186
3-Porsche 996 GT2-480+bhp, top, 196
4-Ferrari F430-493bhp, top, 196
5-Porsche 996 TT, 414bhp, top189

202(mph)divided by 161(mph)=1.25
(Geometric increase in power remember??)Cube 1.25 you get: 1.5625
1.5625 multiplied by 320bhp(your car's power to hit 161) and you get:500


500 HORSEPOWER, that's how much you'd need to hit 202mph. And don't even make me go into stability at that speed, your car would flip.

Now, it's no doubt alot more than that, those Porsche's and Ferrari's and the Viper are all aerodynamic as hell. The Viper's got the correct output, but it's that darned 6th gear that's just an overdrive gear. The Porsche's the 996TT is slightly more aerodynamic because it doesn't have the GT2's rear wing and front spoiler, the F430, it's got active aero for stability at that speed, the trade off of speed for handling is very common among those cars. So...Like we've said, you're bone stock (power wise and aero wise) car CANNOT HIT 202 mph .
