i got up to 95 mph in my Jetta on a private road and I was going to try faster but when I was going 95 my brakes weren't working so well and it took me forever to stop so I'm not going to try going fast until i get new brakes.

well, personally, ive been 87mph on a rolling road.. not gona say the car cuz itll start all the flaming again lol.

and ive been around 60mph on my 110cc bike... and ive driven a mini one D for a day at rockingham.. theres special organised driving days for under-18's there... :-k i went about 40mph max in that in
3rd gear :D. it seemed quite nippy...

Yeah Ive done about 60 mph on my back.


Lost control while slolaming behind a jetski. I was at the end of the cut, and he spun the jetski around so I could whip out and get infront of the boat.


when the boat does a turn, even though its in a big lagoon and is a gentle sweeping one at 45-50 mph, you can cut really hard and fling yourself up to about 65-70 mabey a little more.

Its really neat to get infront of the jetski, but he has to gun it like hell to make sure the rope doesnt snap as you slow down in front of him and he catches up (you need a fast jetski)

Or if your a professional you can go way faster, mabey 80, mabey more depending on the water, if the boats towing you 65 or so.


Anywho, I do it all the time, have been for years, but I lose control sometimes, you hit a bad ripple and such.

I fell out of the ski, and immediatly ditched the rope so I didnt get snapped and slid on my back for about 5 seconds at 60 miles an hour or so.


It was really neat, you can actually plane across the water on your lifevest pretty fast.

its not limited to exactly 155mph, 2 mph possible and i have seen several motoring programs where they have taken a car past the 155 limit without it being removed

no, my car was stock when I hit the number. I am not the only one hit over 155mph. some even top out at 158mph, maybe wind helps that.

My dad told me that the fastest he has driven was 140mph approx.
As for me, I was in the back of a cousin's Saab and we done 95mph. Luckily the cops didn't notice. He said he did it for me and my passion for cars.

The fastest I drove myself was with a SLK280 at arround 190km/h on a road that I knew very good, allowed 70km/h but not a problem.

Fasted I went in my old Toyota Pickup was 90 in 4th gear. I could have done 110-115 in that (and that was with a 22RE, 7 inch lift, and 35 inch tires :D). That was on one of the local highways (SR 520)

Fastest I've gotten my 94 Cherokee up to is 95. The speedometer is only rated to 80, so I was relying on my friend who was driving next to me to give me a more accurate speed. That was on SR 50, the other local highway by my house.

I'm not big on street racing. I find it dangerous and irresponsible. If I want to go fast, I live 10 minutes from the Bithlo track. I'd just go there. But since I dont have any reason to (no tuned vehicles that I think are worth driving on the track), I just dont race (anymore). I have beed stupid on occasion when I first started driving, though, and raced people.

However, being first off the line at a traffic light is something I enjoy. :D

i've been 125 in my talon about a year ago. i was headed up the NYS thruway late one night and just decided to floor it in 5th from about 80. i didn't have HID's back then; the stock 1st gen DSM lighting is garbage. 125 seemed like a good time to stop accelerating being that i wasn't really comfortable with the lighting. i must try again!

I did 120 kph in my mom's Suzuki Aerio (an MPV) on winding mountain road, at 4 am.

I also did like 80 kph in a 350Z Roadster. Shame I couldnt get it any faster. Dang traffic. I was doing a test drive by the way. I think the Nissan guys wont let me take it any faster than 160 kph anyway...

I just went 96 MPH down my favorite stretch of road known as Stanley Blvd. I would've easily gone 100 but some lady in a bone-stock Cobalt LS was driving 50 MPH for quite a ways until she moved over. Then I saw some open road (with the blurb of the car that was some miles ahead) and just punched it (I probably messed up the Premium Ride suspension a little by going 80 over the flat railroad tracks).

Its not me who drove (my dad) but we hit about 115 mph at Route 20 on our way home from Elgin.

Yesterday, on the local news, they said that some dude on a Chevy Cavalier was doing like 210KMH (like 130 MPH) and the right-front tire blew off. The guy almost got killed, and his gilrfriend wasn't wearing a seatbelt, so she got a broken leg and some other damage, but they both walked away alive.

Hit 100 mph in my van yesterday. Not sure if it can go any higher or not. There was a lot of wind resistance and I didn't stay at 100 for more than 5 seconds because I had to start slowing down.

Roughly 100mph in a WRX STi. Strangelt relaxing. Then again, it was sixth so the engine wasn't being massively worked, but I was suprised how quiet it was, I was expecting a lot more wind noise.
