These two videos break down the 997 Turbo and really give you an indepth look on why it could be the best car ever made. I watched these two videos in awe, and it really made me fall in love with this car. I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I did!!

Interesting video, I suppose.

what do you mean? I thought it was a great video and went very in-depth. I am not trying to start anything, I just want to hear out your view point.

Well actually it's a really good vid, just that I already knew most of that stuff about the turbo so it wasn't anything new to me. But to someone who is just being introduced, yes, it is an awsome clip.

I knew most of the stuff, I just thought it was amazing to see how they could show you in all those amazing in engine shots!

I think they represent the version/year of the 911 or something...

I think the 911 is pretty cool, but the Corvette ZO-6 is just as fast with a simple pushrod V8 boasting better fuel economy.

All those little moving parts to make that "little engine that can", will often land it in the repair shop. And lets not talk about the price of service.

.... yep, think I'll make a comparo now.

^^actually, the zo6 is about half a second slower to 60, and gets worse economy in regular driving conditions. but go ahead and use the money you saved to do whatever

the 993,996,997,etc. are different generations of the 911, except the 944, which is a front engined model if im not mistaken

BTW, that video was masterfully done, that car is poetry in motion, or music, as the case may be. now the turbo reminds me of a cello, which makes it even better

Porsche thing is correct

Z06 is as fast as turbo 0-60, economy might be true

Actually, you're wrong. http://youtube.com/watch?v=AyKVCx-VO-U

Go to the 2 minute mark and you can find out who is faster. Not to mention the 911 turbo certainly gets better gas mileage. It might be more expenisve, but you would get better service in the long run. Not to mention they would both be expensive to repair.

Yeah....anyway, I'd take a Turbo over a Corvette anyday.

And those videos were really good. Just proves how technologically advanced the 997 Turbo is, how safe it is, and simply how brilliant it is. I reckon it is one of the best cars on the planet right now, and I mean that. If I had ninety-three grand to spend on a car, it would be on a Turbo, and I would have absolutely no regrets.

Amazing car...Amazing amazing car..

Tiptronic shifting gave it that definite edge on the vette...

And so much sexier going down the track

i'm sure any video that goes that in depth about any particular car would wow you just as much. the only real innovation this car has is the variable cam plus and variable turbine geometry, which aren't really technological breakthroughs. but don't get me wrong, it's a great car, i like pretty mcuh everything about it, and it'll be hella fast around a track.
