i am not a fan of Opel but this one i think its gona be a lot diferent... it comes from Saturn sky, Pontiac Solstice that means it has a good quality of contruction of the chassis... more... the engine is mounted on the aft part of the front axle and the power goes to the rear wheels... and the lightweight engine of 2000cc and 264BHP turn that car in a good trackday or all day car... this is just my actual opinion, for more i'll have to see it on the track because Opel is famous for the understeer

It looks pretty good. I especially like the rear end, where the taillights (incredibe looking, arent they?) fit well into the back end. So do the exhausts, they fit in really well with the back bumper.

I'd still take a Honda S2000 over one of these, plainly because I love the interior and the revving madness of the S2000s, and they seem a little more raw than one of these.

I dunno wether or not its deserving of the title, I dont really care, but this is one of the few opels that I actually like, so it gets props there...

I wish it was sold in the U.S. It looks even better than the the Sky, and that is no small feat. Oh well......:(

Oh, the "rebadge engineering" within GM makes me giggle. Now with international flavors!

Still, at least this is a solid car with whatever badge it's got on the front. Best thing to happen to GM since Bob Lutz came on board, IMO.

But it ain't no Miata. No where near close.

Amen to that. Something about the Saturn badge just makes the Sky less cool.

The Z4M should have one in my opinion.

and its totally undesevring, its just a fat VX220. no where as good as the Vx220, it was even slowerThe VX220 was a road-racer-ish car like the Elise. It had no interior, and it was about as comfortable as a park bench. This one is more of a big fat MX5 competitor with some fat on its belly for you to rest your head on.

I think it derved it although the Solstice looks cuter, but it's basically the same car. Choosing a Z4M or an S2000 for cabrio of the year would be the sausage of death because they're both too expensive for an average rich bastid to afford.

the VX220 had a mid mounted engine ,, so in no way is this car closely resembling the original VX220

Anyone else thinks it looks a bit too short. Not sure the red suits either...the back is pretty ugly too.
