The Volkswagen Golf Variant is a novelty for the German factory. For me it isn't very beautiful, because the front is obsolete (need a full restyling). The back isn't very ugly, it's very similar at the BMW 5 series touring ones. But the car it isn't on the level of the VW Passat...

Oh dear. The rear end looks like it's off a Hyundai/Kia - from 5 years ago. The front looks fine to me though.

Front is fine, like R95 said, back looks like it was from a Kia. Not that nice. Looks a little bit rushed to me actually.

way to ruin a great car by essentially turning it into a wagon. who the hell buys wagons anymore? ever head of the suv? come on. instead of making that they could have put their money towards making a more affordable toureg or something.

Front End looks gud as all golfs do but the back end looks as if one of the VW designers let his 6 year old kid design it !!! disappointing VW !!!

that looks like a Daihatsu or Kia from the back, ugly...VW, if you read this, take back all your plans on the hatchback or get a facelift for that...well the front, it looks pretty good, same as other Golfs, but as you look back to the rear in the first pic, you know that its not a good looking car, and darn, i dont like the rear, hopefully its going to be banned because its too ugly

I like Golfs cuz they're small hatchbacks. A wagon Golf is just wrong IMO.
This ruins the Golf, bad. I hope VW scrape this plan, or at least change the name into something other than a Golf.

A lot of still buy wagons, or estates. Most SUVs here are quite expensive, if you want a qulity one, and the estates can carry people and a hell of a lot of luggage, still be cheap and reliable and get good fuel mileage.
