They are going to produce only 999 RS6 plus.
Normal RS6s will stop production in the near future, and a new generation RS6 will be designed. (apparently with the V10 of the Nuvolari)

The RS6 is the ultimate. Its a BEAST !!!!!! Seen it on the road....i'll have to say it is the best-looking wagon on the road. I was even lucky enough to get to sit in the driver seat....nice seats.!!!!
If i can choose only 1 car I'll probably get the AM DB9, if i'm lucky enough to get 2 cars, i'll get that and the RS6. RS6 = 10/10

yeah, they have some excellant photo's there - and I got a real Koenigsegg business card, blank, so i can print my name on it :P - that has to be the best business card to have at a motorshow to give you access to any stand :D

The RS6 plus or no plus is a supercar. But it's like someone said: it's a porsche with 4 doors and for business man who form time to time want to kill a porsche on the road. I for one would not buy it if i had the aprox money because it weights too much for my tastes and it has a bad mileage obviously. I would really choose an S4 faster and save the extra money even though it's way slower. Then again i would really choose a forth coming S3 or RS3 over an S4. Talking to a guy from Audi i ended asking him what's his opinion about the current A3 3.2 quattro and the S4. He said to me it's obvious that S4 is faster, is better ballanced it's better at all the chapters except millage of course, but when i drove (he) the A3 it kinda felt better because that was a smaller, lighter car and "felt" quicker than the S4 itt gives you another kind of sensation. In an S4 the ride is so refined that you don't actuaally realise when you rip the tarmac to pices. In an A3 it's a different thing, the car gives you another level of feeling and response. So in conclusion RS6 it's a monster of a car even though i love more lighter cars (S2000, 350z...even though they don't produce the same performance nor the same hp and not the same level of grip....) but in the end it would be a nightmare to sit in a dream car like s2000 or 350z and be blown away by an RS6 on the road. The new RS4 should be a better car, at least in my eyes.

Whats the point in ripping a porsche a new one if you cant have 4 of your buds there with you to verify the story. BTW people who drop 130K on a car are normally not to worried about its mileage.

Reading from the tests in Motor's 2004 Performance Car of the Year, the RS6 ranked first in the both the 0-100kmh and 0-400m but the RS6 was slightly overshadowed by the Lambo Gallardo in the standing Kilometre. The RS6 even beat the CSL!!!!. I'm not saying the RS6 is better than a Lambo. obviously, the Lambo will burn the RS6 on a track, but if its just draging, the RS6 might have a chance of winning. btw, The Winton track time for the Lambo was 1 min 37.51, the RS6 was 1:42.09...so yeah....CSL scored a 1 min 37.06

WillieCee youre right about the mileage but just for me it counts a bit. I mean i simply can't afford now to buy an RS6 and even if i could i would still be scared by its mileage. Of course a very rich guy wouldn't be worried about it. And about the thing about smoking a porsche carrera, what i ment is that a prosche carrera is a very good sport car, a 2 door coupe that many would wish it in their garage, a car that needs special attention, a performance car that will drain your pockets when you buy it (i undernkstand u WillieCee if u are a very rich and can affor easily a carrera) and besides that you obviously need another car ofr bad conditions like snow and stuff, so after you finnaly bought the carrera, you're very enthusiastic obviously and start driving it hard and one day on a open road a cloud with 4 circles closes by, u push the throttle and even then you realise that thing wasn't a coupe it was a big car, heavy, 4 doors and an RS6 badge on the back. Cause in a porsche (excepting GT, GT3, turbos) you'll certainly see the back of the car. I hope i made my point. I have a passat TDI 4 motion ok? I dream of owning a 350z, or a very very good car like an M3 or S4 but when i thik that even if this wild dream comes true i would still be :x when an RS6 would blow me away.
