I wish they would put a real manual gearbox in the thing, but apparently there is no market for that. According to the mags, the DuoSelect was pretty herky jerky. So Maserati has come out and released a full automatic.

Boy these cars are sexy

At least Maserati realised their mistake and is doing something about it....

well, i guess its better to use manual gearbox, but i cnat say much about it, its a luxury car, and its fast, and luxury mostly means automatic things, and fast means manual stuff, if it was possible to make them right in the middle, that would be good

They look great, but for actuall driving they dont perform adequatly.

I would rather have a BMW.

would it at all be possible to make a manual gearbox (with clutch) that was a real manual but also had a gear you could put it in for it to change it into an auto?

i dont know, but two gearboxes? i dont think its that possible, but switching from auto to semi auto, which means the tip-tronic stuff i know it will work, but still not on this car

I'd get the duoselect over the auto any day. The only way that it sucks is in automatic mode, that's when it was jerky. But I would rarely if ever have it in that mode anyhow, so why bother with auto?
