The F430 Challenge is getting ready for the streets of the world. The Challenge Stradale is Ferrari’s answer to Porsche’s RS-models, and both of them use almost the same recipe. While Porsche makes the RS-models lighter but keep the same horsepower as the base GT3, Ferrari gives the CS not just a lighter body but also some more power .
The standard F430 delivers 490 bhp and the Stradale is believed to give away at least 520 bhp and about 100 kg less weight. The biggest visible change are the exhaust pipes that got moved up a bit and are producing a lot of great music to all Ferrari fans out there. Could be that Ferrari is recording the sound to sell it as a CD for all those who can’t afford to buy the car? Not really, but it’s not such a bad idea. The microphone that is visible at the exhaust pipes on the photos does help Ferrari at least to make it as loud as legal.
Due to safety regulations around the world the door windows are not made of plastic anymore like on the 360 CS and the wheels have 5 normal lug bolts instead of one center bolt like on the Challenge cars. The inside of the doors is completely made of carbon to keep the weight down. Other light weight tricks include magnesium sport wheels and the carbon grille in the back that also helps to enhance engine cooling. It looks like the brakes are upgraded with bigger discs, the soft Pirelli P-Zero tires give the car enormous grip, and the interior is completed with deep sport seats. Expect the Challenge Stradale to hit the roads in the beginning of 2007.
i just copied and pasted them...not sure but im not posting them, see link above quote

so This new F430 CS is the GT3 RS's rival ? So Ferrari is hoping that this car can keep up with the GT3 RS ? I mean the f430 CS has 100 horsepower more then the GT3 , so it has much more power , and they "Hoping" that it can keep up and challenge the GT3 RS ????!! god those germans are genius !

Looks pretty good, I'm all for the rims on this thing, can't wait to see the power from it. Right now Porsche's 911 GT3 RS urinates on everything in the car world. Is this the answer Ferrari needed?

I feel like they've been testing this thing at Fiorano for years, and every time we get new spy shots of it, it looks less radical.
So the location of the exhaust pipes is for sound purposes and not an aero device to enhance the diffusers function?

yeh more of a top end GT2 rival you mean if the GT2 rs exists then they would closely rival.
and im quite sure this is another bollocks fake thread from WCF im thinking theyve got a bit of info gone out taken a pic of a F430 messed about with it abit on PS and then glorified it to this.

Ferrari is not "hoping", it's the answer to the gt3 with a lighter and more powerful car.It will be ,for sure, faster on a track.

To be honest, I expected a bit more of a showy outside than this - it looks like a standard F430 with CS rims and a plastic cover around the rear lights. I think the standard one looks better. That's what I'll go for. Save the rest of the money, and buy a second hand classic Aston.

Yeah. This is what it was gonna look like in the first place:

And look at it now, it looks nothing like it. Just looks like a watered down race car but a sort of pump up from the normal 430.

I love it. We might be ordering a F430 (not CS) before fall and I'm so excited. I'm also looking forward for the F540 and Dino!
TIP: I'm not trying to be smart but this is how my parents achieved their financial freedom. If you want a Ferrari, start a business or work with Real Estate. They are the best way to make money plus your money depends on you. Sure, you will do mistakes but you learn not to do it again. You also get to be your own boss!

i made a thread a long time ago about this car. as seem nothing changed from that time. No race car fuel cap but is the same car. Still the 360CS is wining in my eyes.....

If Ferrari does the same job with the 430 as with the 360, then it'll be astonishing.
And don't forget that the 360 CS was available in a hardcore and a little less hardcore version.

i think it still looks great, though that car jamesy posted i think is not road preped, i think its a race car, so i think this is a road legal version maybe?
but it still looks good, i dont think that hand painted challenge stradle vinyl thing will work on a F430, but lets wait...it should be okay

It looks good, but when doesn't a Ferrari...it's quite fast. Would be good for a track day, not so sure about everyday though!

Its the little touches they added EXTRA to the exterior that ruins it for me. Why can't they leave it alone visually, but then stick like a 5.0 V8 in it? That'd be cool!
TWIN TURBO

^ they need to distiguish it from the standard one + those extras actually contribute to the car's aerodynamic.
