Carlsson CK20

Open for unlimited driving pleasure – the Carlsson CK20 based on the SLK 200 – with 195 bhp . The new SLK 200 is the ideal basis for tuning specialist Carlsson because, thanks to the new suspension design and setup, as well as the new rack-and-pinion steering, it offers the sharp responses of a go-kart coupled with long-distance comfort.

For the SLK 200, Carlsson offers the CK20 engine-tuning kit, which raises the turbo pressure by 0.1 bar and thus the output of the four-cylinder engine to 195 bhp / 144 kW coupled with maximum torque of 270 Nm at 3500 rpm. The result of Carlsson's power hike: the CK20 is noticeably more powerful than the standard model, particularly at lower engine speeds, and reaches a top speed of 237 km/h. For the standing start to 100 km/h, the manual CK20 takes just 6.7 seconds.

Carlsson is a good tuner. This model is not an exception. I really like the looks of the new SLK and now it's got the performance it deserves. Although there's still the SLK 55 AMG.

it looks cool but i agree w/ CarRocker it needs to get the Merc. emblem back but for the power it has i woudn't mind having one even if it had the emblem on it

You could always swap them back, I am sure that you could get the merc badge to fit :P

Man this looks amazing, i have said some pretty negative things about their tuning specialists but the styling on this exterior and interior is impressive.
Combine this with Brabus or that Kleeman engine management then it would be sublime!

if the 3 worked together, the results could potentially be amazing, but realistically they wouldn't be, it would just be a confusion of designs i think...

This car is definelty a nice car. But if i hadto get a tuner SLK, it'd be the brabus SLK 6.1S.
That car would eat this carlsson alive.
