Which is your favourite 911?

Mine is probably the Porsche 997 GT3.

It has the enough power to beat quite a number of cars which has more power on the track like the Veyron for example.

i don't really like 911s, but the gt3 is kinda cool

as much as i like the carrera gt, the gt3rs still looks more awesomer coz it comes in orange with black highlights!!!!!

I've just read evo and all the RS are limited.

The only 682 996 GT3 RS were made. For the 1974 911 Carrera RS 3.0, only 111 of them. Thats great ain't..

there's no turbo in that picture. its the GT3 (silver), GT3 RS (orange), GT3 RSR, and GT3 Cup racer. they're all GT3s.

wow man....old 911's were much sexier and classy than the current ones.the new 997 is hawt but lacks that classy look.

^ that is right. they lost some of their style in pursuit of high Acceleration figures.

grew up loving that car...it got me into cars...

and also the 997 gt3.

those carrera 4s are some of the least knwon 911s but alot of people think they are some of the best.
they do redify a 911 slightly but theyve done it well

-997 GT3 RS Black with orange accents

I would have to say any 964 with the big whale tail spoiler or the new 997 GT3.

Why does a proper Porsche have to be rear engined. The first Porsche was mid engined. The way I see it the Boxster is the most "proper" Porsche on the market.

my fav is either the 993 turbo or gt1, i love 993 tail lights, but the 997 carrera and gt3 are still my favs.

No it's not weird , the 997 Carrera S is an awesome car .Your favorite 911 doesn't have to be superfast , (though the carrera S is fast) but anyway i love that car.

I prefer a 996 Carrera 4S over a 997 Carrera 4S.. the 997 Carrera is just not my cup of tea. If you are talking about GT3 and Turbo.. thats different.

i can see what you all mean about 996 being nicer than 997 but i think that they may well have reached a point with the 911 i cant really describe that point but its just doesnt seem like it can get much better with out making it something its not.

What he said! I never knew the 911 competed in the Paris-Dakar Rally!! I only thought it only competed in WRC. Thanks for posting something I never knew! Did any of those compete or even comply w/ Group B regulations?.....

it was tuned and fettled by rothmans now known as prodrive.
there was a long gravvely straight out to see and there is really famous footage of it outrunning the chase helicopter!
its insane it was doing about 180 or 190mph on gravel i heard thats mental i cant remember who the driver is though......
