Advantages: The Mercedes SLK is as desirable as the old car thanks to its folding metal roof, but it now drives much better and has far sweeter engines and a much smarter cabin.


Disadvantages: The seat cushions don't provide enough lateral support and the optional shift buttons for the automatic gearbox are badly placed on the steering wheel.

Verdict: Classy way to get some wind in your hair.

Argh, the interior of the SLK is awesome. It's even better than the interior of the SL and the SLR in my opinion, so who cares arbout the placement of the shitf buttons for the automatic transmission?

I agree with the verdict though. It's much more classy than certain, more flamboyant competitiors.

Erm... I don't really understand the point of this thread.

Go easy on the kid - he's just trying to make a wonderful first impression. That's all.
We need more of these threads anyway. I'm always too lazy to seach for things like these myself, and when I finally take some initiative I always end up reading about racing cars.
