RUF RGT: Inspired by the Legendary 1973 Carrera RS

The high revving normally aspirated engine is based on the crankcase of the original 911-engine. It is equipped with dry-sump lubrication with a separate oil tank to ensure a reliable oil supply for the engine even at high cornering speeds. The 3.8-liter engine has a high compression ratio of 12.0 : 1. The output of 445 bhp is reached at 7,600 rpm.

Zero to 62 mph takes just a scant 4.2 seconds, zero to 125 mph just 13.5 seconds. The top speed is 197 mph.

The RGT engine captivates by its spontaneous response behavior and its distinct revving ability.

The RGT will be delivered in rear-wheel-drive and 6 speed transmission with limited slip differential and short shift kit serially.

The sport suspension is adjusted for road traffic as well as for track use by the help of especially adjusted Bilstein gas shock absorbers and chassis springs.

The standard RGT Coupe is equipped with an integrated roll cage which is covered almost entirely by the Alcantara of the A, B and C pillar. The crossbar can be demounted.

The interior seems to be neat.. like the colour of the interior.
The rear seems to look great with that wing.. and those exhaust make it look even better.

It's ok, but I think the GT3 will beat it. GT3 it's lighter and thought to be used in track.

altova.. we can't compare this car to GT3 because made for different purposes. Got that?

If you really want to compare.. GT3 is just a bit lighter.. 3075lbs and the RGT 3164lbs. Just 89lbs different and the RGT seems to have 30bhp more than the GT3.. although there is a power advantage.. I still think that the GT3 will win.. and for that RGT.. a 977 Turbo might be slower than it. The RGT will follow the GT3 very closely if they both are battling on the track.

GT3 might have better suspension and be slightly lighter. But this RUF car has a little more power and what seems to have superior aerodynamics. Yes, there are body kits that actually provide aerodynamic benefits...they're not just for looks.

Anyways, awesome looking car.

I like it. I really like the new wheels, the slight body mods, and the new interior. My favorite part about the new styling is how the exhaust exits are intregated with the rear bumper, it just looks prety neat. Although I wouldn't normaly like this colour of interior, I think it suits this car. The blue is unique compared to the usual tan, or black leather you see in alot of cars today. Overall I think it's a very nice car with great performance, and good looks to top it off.

I've read about this car in EVO magazine before!! Its a pretty awesome car IMO, though I'd rather have a CTR Yellowbird!
