it does seem to have some le mans influence to it or some sort of GT class racing.

Its not a Chrysler at all. Thats the car that put Mosler on the map . Mosler built that car in the 80s. at the time Mosler's company name was Consulier auto(or cars) I forget. It has Chrysler Turbo II Motor.

They're supposed to inject high velocity air flow into the wake, thus increasing the base pressure.

I'd never have thought people still were using fans to increase base pressure, though the new LF-A concept got me wondering about it.

The fans are for the radiator, which is at the very back of the car. I've seen many a Consulier up close :)
