I used to work at a Lambo and Lotus Dealer and SSC which is shelby sports cars corp. is a private company based out of washington i believe and they came to our dealership to try to get us to sell them and as of when they came to us they were gonna make 26 of them or close to that number. i got to ride in it and i was impressed he said 0-60 was more like 2.94 and it really felt like it. the car has mercedes gulwing doors and is very simalar to a lotus esprit on the inside. overall this car dynoed at 908 horse at the flywheel and for the 249,000 they were asking i would deffinatyl buy it

I like the specs as pretty much everyone else has said, but I would rather buy a Koenigsegg CC8, or CCR.... around the same price for a CC8 I believe, as for the SSC here. Also I remember someone said that they were making 26 cars, with Koenigsegg they only make the car if you order it, and they make it according to your particular likes and dislikes.... the owner of the company even contacts you for god sakes! lol

I agree... the back end of this SSC car does have a Koenigsegg-ish light configuration. with the row of three, and a Cizeta VVT looking front.

It reminds me allot of a Lambo Diablo. I think hte front end could use a little word, but other then that i think it looks pretty cool. Just look a those specs- Wow! Definitly an alternative to paying over a million for an Enzo or F1.

For a little sidetrack: Nice one Koenigeseggs Rock, haha.. that sure would be a club. I hope to have a working sketch of a Koenigsegg CCR done by the end of the summer... look for it in the Members Gallery :)

and I agree with you Brettzilla, definately a lot better buy than getting an Enzo. If the interior is as comfy as a sports car, and handles like a supercar... very good find.
