I would get rid of that sticker on the side, make it look like a regular-nothing special pickup, and have fun with people at red lights all day!
I cant belive that thing has 400bhp and 460lb-ft! How did they fit that V8 in there?

Neat little thing all the way back from 2002. Very cool little project. The only thing wrong with it is the hideous, Altezza-like tail lights. Slow must've missed this in his rare and fantastic fords thread...
In any event it's easy to see why this never went into production. It's much more suited to a home builder looking to make a street sleeper.

Wow thats really nice, I really wish they would make that ha. I love Rangers, their great trucks, my friend had a 4cyl rwd 92 ranger, looked like new, and was the 1st truck i drove standard on. And just because its not 4wd doesnt mean u cant off road with it :D .
If ya read the text in that link, u prob read the mustang part. Well my friend tried to do something similar to that in his truck at a stoplight, only it was a Mustang Cobra.. Really bad decision, i told him not to hah and it wasnt till he was passing us when he read COBRA on the back.[-X

That picture is pretty funny were its cornering around the cones.

i don't like that truck much, the sticker sucks, but i think the rims are pretty cool
car lover !!

The sticker don't really suck..
The problem with the truck that it looks like a remote area car more than city car. Partly because of 2 doors as they are very short.
I have a weird feeling.. don't know why..

Exterior is really nice and the engine looks really cool, but the interior doesn't seem to have much quality and it seems a bit cheap and tacky IMO.

just get rid of that sticker...
exterior is lovely(without the sticker) love the blue one, the chromed engine looks great and perhalps produce great power, the interior...hmm, i dont like it, i would prefer like more metallic stuff, though i love the performance on that truck

Sticker or no sticker, nobody really couldn't believe that a supercharged V8 was stuck under that little bonnet. It's amazing that they didn't have to put a scoop on it just to accommodate the supercharger. I wonder how fast he can shift into 'Drive' using that shifter.

It's alright. I never have been a fan of Rangers. I'd rather take an 01 Dakota R/T with the 360.

Never been a fan of Dodge trucks, except the power wagon. The old one. I see more fun in a Ranger with a 302, more common swap.

I like it - including teh sticker. It's totally sick. It actually looks cooler than the F150, and that supercharged V8 must be amazing. And best of all, it can run 12's with a proper calibration! ...whatever that is.

i like the truck, but it would be better if it was abit bigger, imo

The size is the cool thing about it. It doesn't look like a truck that run 12's or 13's, and it's gotta be significantly lighter than, say, a F150 Lightning or a Dodge RAM.

Partly because of 2 doors as they are very short. They're no shorter than any other Ranger...

Are you dogging the Ram? Those sukkers will run pretty quick

It is significantly lighter than an F150 or Ram... because those are full size trucks. The Ranger is a mid size pick up.

I'm am by no means against Austrailia vehicles, although IMO it can't touch the Ranger. It doesn't look as good. probably has lesser performance (even though it's not a big factor in most trucks) and you can haul more with the little Ranger.

They pack tuned LS2s. Granted there's only an extra 10 hp than the Corvette puts out, but the point remains. And they only weigh about 1.4 ton.
As for the looks, personally I think American trucks are all butt ugly, but to each their own.

I would never buy a truck. I mean, Why do you need someting like that. esspecially here in holland, if you are cary a load of stuff with you it may be handy, but for me no. when you make this one completely original, no fancy wheel stickers etc it's quite funny. but still, no.

I see more fun with a old nissan pickup with a KA24E.......
in other words....
you can either put in a boosted KA24DE or a SR20DET and both drop right in with very minor modification(wiring asside)......
BAM.....a monster

Low down acceleration is better in that Ranger when it comes to corners or high speeds I doubt the ranger would stand much of a chance. Being lighter and lower would help it around the corners and its much lower C.O. would help is up top. HSV is also known for making very good suspension systems as well. I think the HSV looks much better not to mention the interior.
Each to their own.

Because cornering is the LAST thing this truck is made for.

Wow, is that what we're getting over here? I'm not sure how the Aussie public are going to react to such a car. I mean, we haven;t had a successful pickup-style car for ages (if at all), so it'll be interesting to see what comes of it.
As for me, it seems a bit blocky, but looks like it'd be pretty fun to drive.

Because cornering is the LAST thing this truck is made for.You would be surprised at how well a Ranger can handle stock, it's saved my ass from trees a couple times offroad. This one is obviously modified and probably does well. While a pickup truck is not the type of car that has the physics to handle well a little creative suspension work can do wonders.
Don't judge by the way things look. I once saw a Peterbilt purpose built for racing and driving that I bet Monkey could take me on a track.

Truck racing is huge in the southern hemisphere. Well, not huge, but there's a cult following:

The truck I saw was actually set up to race on a track. I don't know if this is common or not but I was amazed.
