Great car. Better than BMW 7series and Audi A8

It's definetly a very, very nice car. It has awesome power and overall great perormance for a car of this size. I'm still not too keen on the shape of this thing though..thanks for the review, though.

it's maybe the best limo (and I think it is), but I'd rather take an Audi A8 (which I drove, and I know what it is). it's more like a "driving machine" than the S Klasse, which is a luxurious saloon.. on wheels

If I had the cash, I would buy one of these. I reckon it's been styled properly, because it definitely looks the part, and those lovely AMG rims complete the look.

The interior is also proper luxry. Lots of leather, high quality stuff in there and I'm sure it's a nice place to be.

And then comes the engine. Monster, beautifully crafted, lovely V8 engine, roaring away ahead of you.

I sat in the S65 at the car show and I have to say it is amazing....its so comfortable and the styling of it is just out of this world.

Since it has nightvision in the 7 inch monitor in the dash im gonna have to take this car becuase thats a feature no other car can provide...

oh yeah, did i mention 700+ ft lbs of torque?

It's the best car in it's class... but I'd still take an S8 over it. I can't stand the design of the new S Class.

It's got a fridge integrated in the backseat though.. that's gotta be one of the coolest features in a car ever!

Now I officially dislike this car. I would get a Gallardo, or a package coststing of an S8 and a SL500 instead of this. Or even better, an Eleanor!

The S8 is a direct competitior, and yet it's nearly half th price. Jesus H. Christ!

but, anyway, it depends really on what is most important to you: the sporty feeling (S8) or the comfort and luxury (S Klasse). so, the Mercedes is more for ppl that like to be driven, and the Audi.. well, for drivers !
and then again, you can be influenced by the price, wich I'm not saying is not worth the product, but Mercedes saw it a little bit too big there.

about the nightvision, you can get that on the 7 series from BMW, don't you ?

the time u think ur gonna blow.....the limiter kicks in.so that's what u call a kick.i really like this merc...a white n black roof is the best combo.i i have a job that gives me 6-7 digits on a monthly check or an office on the 34 th floor...then surely i'll get one of these.

I'd really like to see a comparison review between this and the S8, I bet it will be an extremely controversial review.

But I guess the winner would have to be the S65.

I'm still going for the Quattroporte.. Don't really like this generation of S-Class.. I like the W220 one. :)

If I had to choose between this and the BMW 760Li , I would go for the BMW.
