Thats cool.. snakeskin.. nice idea though.
I wonder if there is any other model which uses a animal's name..
If they use elephant.. wow.. elephant skin!

gross..i hate snake skin...it's so pimpish.i love the concept tho.

Nov 25, 2006, 5:14 AM
hope they made it good, as you know snake skin is as rough as hell..its very uncomfortable..ewww..imagine sitting on that rough surface...ewww...
well the exterior looks quite good though i would lower the car and change the rims...looks pretty cool in black, though i would add some vinyls, as in white stripes

it'd be nice to look at, but i could never drive that.. to much snake pieces,,, would make me feel weird...
Robbie
Nov 25, 2006, 5:17 AM
wonder if they put snake poisoning on those things...:D
everytime you ride in that, bring some anti poison, something like that

Nov 25, 2006, 5:18 AM
Its pretty ridiculous. Why would you want snake skin on your car? Rims look nice though.
Robbie
Nov 25, 2006, 5:19 AM
thats to make it special from others...just like show off guys, they rice them out, make super loud exhausts just to make a difference than other cars...hope you know what i mean..:D

Fiat should so something similar with the Panda. White fur on the seats would be quite comfortable I'm sure. Are pandas endangered though? I love this idea, although I hate the black rims. What is with people using black rims? They're horrible.
Robbie

to suit the whole car i believe, adn yes pandas are endangered animals, so just used coloured fur...:D

.....Disgusting.
Who in the right mind would want a snakes ass draped all over your brand new Viper?
Yeah, I know the names match of a snake, but this is taking it too far. And it doesn't look paticularly good anyway.
I'll take a stock.

Bah, it's totally gross. Then again, cows aren't much better, but the important part is that we never think of leather as the ass of a dead cow.
bennyboy
Nov 25, 2006, 9:11 AM
It's because leather doesn't look anything like a cow so it probably doesn't resemble much in our minds.
However, snake skin, looks exactly like the animal it came off, which is not good.

hehehe...good one bennyboy.
i wonder what will happen to the pontiac dudes if the come up with sumthing like this for their piranha??

Nov 25, 2006, 9:45 AM
haha
like I've always said: the Viper is just a truck-engined and unrafined car...
and this "look" makes it also ugly !

Nov 25, 2006, 9:46 AM
That would be totally crazy if evryone started doing something like that. The Fiat Panda would make the Veyron look cheap if it came with panda skin. The Corvette Stingrays would be totally cool though.

I think the rims ruins everything! I hardly doubt that they could have picked any worse!

Wow, that is a pretty cool idea. It is also pretty fitting, because it obviously goes well with the Dodge Viper name. As long as it is fake snakeskin, I have no problem with this, although it does seem a bit tacky and I would probably take a regular Viper over this.

This is a first, a Viper I don't like.
The rims are hideous combined with that paint scheme, the interior's fine, but snakeskin, gah. No thanks.

im sure there are some cars where the bonnet is just far too long

That's because they are all front-mid engined, I think. It requires a hell of a nose to make space for a such layout.

This is a great example of what Dodge should offer in its Vipers as optional equipment. The option of normal seats and the snakeskins.
I like the seats and trip, as well as the wheels are spectacular on this car.
Great work PREFIX.

I think it looks awesome, brings out the animal in the driver. The snake skin looks awesome and those rims r wicked well i like them alot.

Nov 27, 2006, 11:47 AM
Brining out the animal of a dude piloting a Vipurh would get ugly!
Snake skin is not very strong either. You'd blow a hole in the seat just by passing some gas!

Why is everyone bashing the rims they are sweet. black rims rule
Robbie
Nov 28, 2006, 4:33 AM
black rims sure does look nice, but the rim dosent suit the car, not the colour

I heard the VW Golf is (or was) called VW Rabbit in America. Isn't a VW Rabbit "Rabbit edition" a good idea?
Robbie
Nov 28, 2006, 5:45 AM
lol...volkswagen took that approach...new thread time!
though its not a rabbit edition, its called the Dunny edition

As much as i love the viper, i cant say that i like this too much. I mean snake skin seats? Nasty lookin, the outside styling looks pretty nice likin the paint.. But you guys are right, black rims are nice but not these kind on this car, maybe it if was a glossy black and maybe thiner spokes and maybe insted of the 5star, a 7 spoke rim. Or a nice curved rim like porsche uses on many of its cars..

Sweet car for snake lovers but I'd hesitate to sit there. I never liked snakes and I don't like how they feel either. But yeah, I think it defines the whole image of Dodge Viper.

To be honest I think it's cool as hell. Snakeskin looks awesome and I love the paintjob. Not really a fan of the rims though.
