I've just read an article in CAR magazine, I will try to copy it word for word, but please excuse any spelling mistakes from quick copying!!

The M6, due late next year will be available as a coupe and cabrio, both wielding the M5's V10 and SMG gearbox, with integrated hydraulics and updated electronics for an ever quicker shift action and notabley more relaxed automatic mode. However BMW is denying the M5 and M6 high-tech equipment currently available on the 5-series and 6-series, like active steering and dynamic drive. Body-hugging flexible-width front seats will, however, be available.

The M6 is tipped to be offered as a low-calorie CSL model in 2007. Expect up to 200kg to be stripped out. And in the CSL, the V10's displacement goes up to 5.5 litres, boosting output to 550bhp. Expect 0-60mph even colser to 4 secs.

Essential Stats for M6:
5.0 V10, 500bhp
7-speed SMG

 oh, I'm sorry. It's so funny cause it takes Detroit over 8 liters to make 500 hp N/A

I like the new BMW style as well. I know style is very relative, but I think in this case, it's more of a few prestigous people not liking it and everyone following the trend. Whatev.

this is the article i got from autoexpress.co.uk

BMW M6

hese are the latest pictures of the stunning BMW M6 coupe, caught out on cold weather testing exercises. This will feature an engine from a new 'family' of modular units, a 40-valve 5.5-litre V10 with an estimated 500bhp. This engine will also feature in the upcoming M5. Acceleration 0-100 km/h is predicted to be well below five seconds, and top speed over 300 km/h, though this is likely to be electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The M6's suspension will be similar to that of the M5, much lower and stiffer than that of the 645i, and there is likely to be the option of six-speed manual or six-speed auto transmission. It won't be the quickest 6, however: a lightweight M6 CSL with carbon-fibre panels and an extra 50bhp is also tipped to be on the way, though not for at least three years. The 'standard' M6 coupe is expected to be launched in 2005, with convertible versions following. @Automedia

The M6 is my dream. Period.

To be quite honest, if the M6 was my dream, i would have a very bad nightmare. I think it's really ugly. The M5, that's my dream. The best new BMW imo
