it says that they have decided to give the 612 Scaglietti a facelift. It just looks like they have got a 599 GTB and added a few new bits and said that they are giving it a facelift.
They also say that the are giving it a 4 wheel drive system. in my opinion i think that ferraris should be kept without a 4 wheel drive system what do you think?

I think it is a great idea . From the last sentence of the article , it says that the 4×4 could give a superb handling characteristics in all weather condition , with minimal understeering and oversteering .

Instead of being an all time four-wheel drive system it should rather be viewed as a means of traction control. The all-wheel drive will only interfere when the rear wheels loose traction, and if the option to have the all-wheel drive engaged is switched on.
I think this is a great idea .

I third that. It's a great thing to use on the 612, but they shouldn't use it any of the other models. They are too sportscar-ish for a 4x4 system. It works on a Lamborghini because it's a Lamborghini, but Ferrari's gotta be RWD.

I liked the 612 as it is. And those spy photos look hideous. What's all that crap over the wheel? Surely that's not helping the aerodnyamics of the thing.

Oh and also, a Ferrari isn't a Ferrari if it has 4WD.

your being a sterotype, just because its a ferrari doesnt mean it cant have awd. I mean sure its ok to have rwd, i love the porsche way of thinking (rwd for hypo models) beacause rwd is much more fun and can be faster on a track. but sometimes its when your coming home in your 600,000 dollar ferrari with 400 kw in the snow you want the surcurity of awd.

Anyway.. did you all read the article ?
I already quoted that the 612 is still using the RWD .

Instead of being an all time four-wheel drive system it should rather be viewed as a means of traction control. The all-wheel drive will only interfere when the rear wheels loose traction, and if the option to have the all-wheel drive engaged is switched on.

I don't really like 612 because they don't look that good but I believe what cheeky said . They look good in real life although I haven't seem them in real life . Photos are different .

4x4? Why was I expecting to see an SUV?

I was thinking the same thing...and I thought to my self oh no............Ferrari don't.

This car isn't really what you call a performer so an awd system would add to its capabilities. I think its meant more as a cruising Ferrari that can be fun but really is not a track warrior. Sort of like a businessman's car.

i like the RWD idea, and when they lose traction its AWD, its smart, get donw power quicker, instead of slowing down and getting grip...and the front rims are pure sex:)
