well, if the Exige with worse aerodynamics, 237bhp and 875kg weight does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, then one weighing 850kg, with 400bhp and better aerodynamics.. id estimate it doing 0-60 in at least 3.5, near enough definately less.. hmm..

I bet you used a calculater lol.

nah lol i estimated it.. how can i use a calculater to do that :|. omg actually ill try.. hmm.. i could work out the amount of bhp and weight increase, then take something away from the 0-60 time or something like that... hmm it may just work, ill post the results..
Lotus Exige S:
power: 237bhp
weight: 875kg
0-60: 3.9 seconds
Lotus Sport Exige:
power: 400bhp
weight: 850kg
0-60: ?
875kg divided by 850kg = 1.0294117647058823529411764705882; a 1.03% decrease in weight
237bhp divided by 400bhp = 0.5925; a 59.25% increase in power
umm, now what? :|
1.0294117647058823529411764705882 + 0.5925 = 1.621911764705882352941176470588
lol thats all i can come up with, and that says there's a 1.62 second decrease in the 0-60 time... so that says it'll do it in 2.3 seconds.. hmm, i doubt that lol... i dont think there is a calculation you can do, cause things such as temperature (weather overall), tyre compound, weight of the driver, the amount of drag, the gear ratio, the fuel used.. etc... theres no way to do this without a test..

I bet you used a calculater lol.Nah, you can't calculate awesomeness. That thing is built by the company responsible for the Le Mans winning Bentley. That definitely cuts 0.5 seconds off the 0-60 time. They know how to do it.

im sure i saw something where you put in weight, bhp and drag coeficient and it worked out (quite well) its 0-60 and top speed.
i used it alot but have forgotten it.
would be cool to find again.

The best way to find out is to get a stopwatch, and a Sport-Exige lol.

i actually know how to do this
but cars use different amounts bhp at different times so its almost impossible, plus theres drag

The 0-60 really doesn't matter in the first place. It will beat pretty much any road car around a track anyway.

*groans*
It's going to be fast, period.
Power/ weight doesn't mean squat when you've got traction to worry about. The aerodynamics might have some say in the 0-100 run, but only at the top of it, and won't make as much of a difference as the F1-gearbox does.
Furthermore, it's a one-off race car, so, *groans again*.

I'm guessing that 0-60 will be less than 3 seconds with the right gearing .
Why not try to ask SubaruKid ? He is very very busy though.. so , good luck finding him . ;)

Traction of the line won't mean much in a race
And people don't know how much weight and bhp mean
some people seem to think they mean squat
they are more important than anything
not to say other things are
downforce is also important

lol downforce..? dont you mean drag? downforce affects top speed, not acceleration lol.. :D

The Exige sport is a race car...a factory race car..simple as that..
it's a very fast car..and from what I remember..did/does remarkably well in it's class

I have to admit, I talked to Subarukid37 once about how I'd love to drop a twin-turbo'd Duratec V6 in an Exige, this was almost two years ago probably, ta-da, he pointed it out to me and goes, "Oh, you mean like this?!"
Hehehe..
