ok this is my favorite car of all time. it looks badass and is amazinly fast. they are easy to make go fast, with a few mods i have seen them run 11.8's at the strip just from a new downpipe, intercooloer and chip. the car would actually run almost the exact same 1/4 mile time and 0-60 time as the porsche 930 of the time. with a stock 1/4 of 13.7 (under rated) and a 0-60 of 4.7. i was wondering what everybody else thinks of this car

they were about the most amazing thing on the street in 86. I found a regal sport in a junk yard mangled a few years ago, and pulled the engine (basically the same as what was in the GN), and changed the intake to a Kenny Boyce dual side draft setup. I also got the turbo headers from Boyce, but the engine is still on a stand. I have never done anything with it

i almost had a buick regal t-type that had the same motor as the GN but the guy got into an accident with it and the car was in bad shape when i went to see it. it was kinda a downer cause now i have my truck and would def rather have that car

The one I found was a t type sport (I think sport just meant cosmetic options). I was planning on dropping the engine in a datsun mini truck for my dad, but it never happened
Many of the t type regals had carbs, and were detuned. The restricted exhaust and tight torque converter were not condusive to good turbo operation... This would explain why I went with an aftermarket intake and exhaust

GNX is kick ***. I love that car. Sucks that they made so little. I remeber watching a show on it where 2 crews had to make a faster one, then they raced' um!

Just a thought How about you edit to GNX (you know the whole Grand National thing) Then I will remove this post and no one will know that you spell as poorly as I do
