Well... Some of you have probably been waiting for this news, as have I.
It's gonna have 3.2-litre straight-six-cylinder engine (from Volvo), and is likely to have a power figure of more than 250bhp. Sounds pretty powerful then, eh? I estimate that it'll do 0-60 in around 6.5 seconds, and should hit a top speed of about 160mph.
I don't know much more... But I really think that the Mondeo will be offered in ST-TDCi form again, possibly using a tuned and more powerful version of the 158bhp 2.2-litre turbodiesel, as the current ST-TDCi was/is selling well.
Here are a few pics:

I think this car looks very sexy, and I must say the diffuser looks amazing, and, if it is actually functional, would be a very good investment; downforce really affects handling, and, if you want a fast saloon, you definately need the handling to go with it. Other striking details such as the bold lines (the big crease along the doors and the shape of the bonnet), the Focus ST-style wheels, the twin exhausts, the massive chrome lower grille and the 'bullet' foglights look very nice. I reckon the Mondeo ST should really give the 260bhp Mazda 6 2.3 T MPS, 280bhp Vauxhall Vectra 2.8 V6 T VXR and the 220bhp Volvo S40 2.5 T5 Sport SE a run for their money.
Can't wait to see it... It's gonna be featured in the James Bond movie, too . God knows why lol, but it is :p. I'll try and convince my Dad to buy one! Haha. Hmm I wonder if he actually could.. I suppose he could stretch another £5000 or so over the amount he paid for our current car :D...
