It is probably the CL65. But that would just not make any sense, seeing as they already have the CL63.

no... the cl55 amg is not the cl600, the cl600 has a bi-turbo V8 and the cl55 amg has just a v8. and the cl 65 amg would
not get a v8 but a v12 with a bi-turbo. and no, it does make sense cuz the 55amg is the more sporty cl600 with a
different motor concept etc. and the cl65 will be one of the most powerfull production mercs ever made.

I know. But they already have the CL500, the CL600 and the CL63 AMG, so the CL65 is just pointless when they already have the CL63... I thought the 63 replaced the 65.

It could be the CL Black Edition. These are limited editions i guess and the most performance oriented ones right? Considering the blacked out grille and all... there is a chance...

first, to my mind it's ok to build a cl65amg cuz the cl500 has 5461cm³ and 285kw/388hp. the cl600 got 5513cm³ and 380kw/517hp and the cl63amg has 6208cm³ and 386kw/525hp. so there is still some space for a cl 65amg with like 620 or even 650 hp. and the chassis... don't be afraid, i think it would handle that amount of torque very well.

The CL 55 AMG had a Supercharged V8. The CL 600 has a biturbo V12. If the CL 65 comes out, beware VW Continental GT. Oups no...

maybe they will twin turbo the new 6.3 V8 and bring out some 700bhp engine with tons of torque like the lastmodel. the last CL65 had the ability to produce 885lb/ft but the gearbox would blow so they capped it at 738lb/ft

the last model they and a cl55 the "peformance" version. and now they hav released the 63 which is the "peformance" version but it only has 380 kw and 630 nm the 65 had 450kw and 1000nm on the last model!

If you read the article, it suggests that it may be the AMG edition of a lesser car. ie a CL500 or something with AMG options, my friends dad drives a CL600 with AMG bodykit, rims and an AMG badge....
