OH MY, I have come up with a new reality T.V. show, I call it "I Challenge You". It's sort of like "Pimp My Ride" but different. Ok we all know those people who have nice cars and make fun of others, case in point me and my Sentra. There is a guy at my job with a Mustang GT who talks all this crap about my Sentra (funny thing when I had my VR4 he didn't say a peep) and plus I have heard the Sentra jokes a thousand times, "Kia Killer" or "Slowentra" hahahahaha muthaf*ckers. But say I let M.T.V. or another network take my car for a week and fix it up to be really fast, I mean turbocharger and all the works and made it look better too. So I tell the guy with the Mustang GT that my car broke down and is in the shop. A week later I surprise the guy with the Mustang GT with my brand new Turbocharged "Slowentra" and say to him, "I Challenge You." So M.T.V. offers the Mustang owner a chance to race me for a $1,000 dollars and the Mustang Owner agrees. So it's set up, onto the race and my Sentra walks all over that Stang. M.T.V. 1 and Cocky Owners 0. Each week a new car and a new challenge, say for instance a Civic vs. BMW M3, of course M.T.V. won't always win, but it will be fun to watch.

Sounds like a good idea, Top Gear did it over here, they took an old LADA along to Lotus who spent the equivalent of £30,000 on the car (£100,000 inc labour) and changed it completely! This is from the website:
Is it possible to turn any car into a driver's car? To find out, we found a man who drives a Lada - and nicked it.
A tough job, but if anyone can pull it off it's Lotus - they can even made Vauxhalls handle. So, meet Paul Sherwood and his £200 Lada Riva, and then meet the Lotus engineers who spent 1000 hours transforming his car...

The team from Lotus discuss options - from wheels to colours and body mods. Meanwhile, a Fiat twin-cam engine is picked up for £200, and tuned by an ex-F1 engine specialist.
Once the work begins, the size of the task ahead becomes apparent. Paint is the tip of the iceberg, as special parts are fabricated including suspension and exhaust.

The final result - 35bhp has been transformed into 180bhp and, as Gavin demonstrates on the track, Lotus has created a car that handles.
Highlights include a retrimmed interior, semi racing tyres from an Exige, handmade bespoke springs and a pearlescent black paint job. Estimated total build cost? £30k for parts and £100k if you added up the labour. Ouch.

Sound cool, but I bet if they make a show like that it won't last very long :?

It seems too strange and complicated to me. It won't have success because not all ppl are interested in cars.

MTV does "Pimp My Ride" and it's a successful show

MTV does "Pimp My Ride" and it's a successful showBecause it has to do with that entire Rap and Hip-Hop scene, but if you put a real car show on MTV, it will be cancelled. You have to put it on Speed or something.

Sounds like an awesome idea, reminds me off a Renault people mover that Renault dropped an F1 engine in and pulls a 2.3sec 0-60mph.
