i was reading the interview of Button after the Imola race on Sunday. and their question went like so:

"Can I just have a comment on the fact that this might be the last Grand Prix at Imola?" - www.barf1.com

are they getting rid of the San Marino GP?

I saw Speed TV's coverage of the San Marino GP. According to what they said Imola has been losing popularity as a GP track. And attendance continually dropped. It was only this year that they seemed to have a good deal of support, but that was most likely due to the fact that this was the 10 year anniversary of the late Ayrton Senna.

I don't care that they don't return to Imola. It's a boring cicruit, you can't overtake. This all because of the crashes of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger in 1994. After those crashes they decided to make it safer.
So now Imola will probably disappear there is a place for other circuits like the circuit that they are building in Turkey

Not to me, IMO Monza is one of, if not the best and fastest track in F1.

Boring? Do you even know Monza? It holds the fastest lap speed record in F1.
Yes, in its CURRENT configuration.

And the chicanes are good, or else the drivers can't overtake. And it is indeed one of the best circuits of the world!!!

I know this is off topic, but I was just wondering...
How long has everyone here been following F1?

I think around '96/'97, don't kow exact anymore. But since 2000 i try to watch every race live, or else i tape it.
And i've always been Schumi/Ferrari fan

I started this season as well. I can't say I'm too fond of Schumacher. I know he's extremely talented, so I suppose it's just jealousy. For the most part I'm cheering on BMW-Williams. I guess you could call it brand loyalty as well. I can't say I'm too thrilled with the performance of both Montoya and R. Schumacher.

I think the topic has pretty much been exhausted. But the discussion is still F1 related...
