I'd got 100% on getting the Evo. For that amount of money, its the best car out there. Unless you can get an amazing deal on a Mustang Cobra, Evo power all the way. And stay away from Honda, its not a good move to buy one. Cuz then yer a retard like all the other highschool kids who think putting a fart can on the back of a car makes it fast :evil: :evil: :twisted: :twisted: :evil: :evil: :evil: :twisted: :evil:

Go for the Elise, but if you can't get the Elise go for the EVO8. :D

If you are getting this Elise for 30,000, then their is probably something wrong with it, or it has a bazillion miles on it. I would'nt get it, not unless you check EVERYTHING out on it. Even then, The Z4 has great handly, and its a convertable! Chicks like convertables, and the Evo 8 (which is what I would pick...as I already have :twisted: ) is one of the most amazing cars out there on the market for that price range

Don't be an ignorant moron! I know you are probably very intelligent! You're doing the one thing I hate about car talk wich is totally dissing a car or thinkging one is better than the other simply because of the the brand name. Brand loyalties are pure BS. Compare the cars, not the houses that produce them.

The S2000 is a pristeen example of car engineering from the apparently "jst not gonna be good" cause it's Honda. You don't open the the door, climb into the seat and snap the seatbelt, you slip it on like a glove. Everything about the car is tight, has a purpose, and is very athletic. The handling is decidedly sharp and crisp, the steering wheel is at an amlost perfect verticle position. Ever hear a Formula 1 car? The s2k puts out just that sound, anything below 6000 rpm merely buzzing and zipping as a simply decent roadster though. 6001 and up is when the I4 killer N/A takes a deepbreath and rips into anything not 15+ thousand dollars more expensive. Presicion shifter that 'shick's every gear like something 'german' would.

Aesthetics aside, the Z4 is maybe the worst new Bimmer that I can recollect. Starting off is the guage cluster, which is merely two tunnel dials in which EVERY gauge is crammed into. The numbers are small and it is definitly not lined up for any height drivers gaze. It's merely .1 second ahead of the s2k from 0-60(with a whole freaking liter more!) and has the exact .92 g rating on the skidpad. The seats are too loose. The steering wheel will float around by itself if you hold it too loosely, and struggles against you if you hold it too tightly. The engine has a synthetic quality to it, nothing sexy like you would THINK a Bimmer 6cyl eninge would produce.

Evo 8's rule! But my personal choice for 30k would be a GTi(any years past 90) and ~10k of mods. Thats just me though

I was just pissed at some of my friends who rice out their Civic's and Integras and think they are the fastest thing in the world. You should tell them not to buy into brand names, if it doesnt say Honda, its **** to them. I was just wondering, since I like supra's a lot. I would get either the lotus elise, or the EVo 8, yet it is a hard choice, just to pick one of them. I think the lotus elise would be the best bet in the end.

my supra goes at 146 MPH (well that's the a fastest i went with her ) she's a 93 :lol:

Get a Caterham super 7 superlight r500 xpower only 30,000 and it does 0-100kms in 3.3 seconds with is amazingly fast.

if your going for the 30k market in canada (i'm a fellow canadian too 8) ) why not go for an Acura Tsx, fun sporty and an allround great car you can get it with a manual 6-speed or an automatic 5-speed both cost 35k, A Subaru Impreza 2.5 for 27K; you can allways get an aftermarket turbo. Volkswagen Jetta it can be nicely equipped for 30k or what about an Audi A4 1.8t thats about 33K and etc. your choices are endless man choose wisely lol.
