I just watched the first race day of the season at Thruxton. There was some good racing, and Seat team's car played well with the rest (bearing in mind it is tuned to European Touring Car spec), and won race 2.
There is still work that needs to be done to bring BTCC up to the excitment level of say the STCC or even FIA GT or DTM (a bit different!).
All of this years cars are FWD which is disappointing, and hopefully new manufacturers will enter soon, as it is still only Vauxhall, MG, Honda, Proton & Peugeot racing at the moment.
