A big Peugeot fan here!!
And now i ask to you, Mallon: In the same case, why buy/want a supercar of Renault; VW, Fiat, Opel, Ford, for example?? Its almost certain that Peugeot has the same capacities to design a supercar as these others! :)
Perhaps you is being a little "preconceptious" in this case, not?? hehehe
Hey, Zodiac!!
Two little pics for you :D

Sincerely, this is not a "wonder of wonders", but it is a very very cool car 8)

I certainly like this car! Wow, I'm really impressed. I haven't seen many Peugots, besides the 206 Rally car. This one is freaking sweet looking. I'm seriously impressed.

Hummm...
Spesc about this cars?? i will see what i can do...
The RC Diamonds
Engine: 2.2 Liter Turbo Diesel (HDi), DOHC 4 Valves per cilinder (inline 4)
Power: 129.0 kW / 173.0 bhp
Top speed: 230.0 kph / 142.9 mph
0 to 100Km/h: 6.0 seconds
Weight: 950 kg
The RC Spades
Engine: 2.0 Liter Turbocharged, DOHC 4 Valves per Cylinder (inline 4)
Power: 133.0 kW / 178.4 bhp
Top speed: 230.0 kph / 142.9 mph
0 to 100Km/h: 6.0 seconds
Weight: 900 Kg
Both the cars are Mid Engine / RWD; have tires 245/45R-18, 6 Speed Manual w/ electro-hydrualic actuation and the bodys are made of carbon fibre.
If these cars was for sale, i would choose them in the place of a Audi TT or a Nissan 350Z (if i had the money for this, sure, hehehe)
They are prettier than these others!!

Well I don't really know if I'd choose them, but I definitely like them and I would examine this possibility.

The RC Spaded has more HP and is lighter, but the top speed and acceleration are still the same.... I can't see any difference in it's design, maybe someone could tell me about this?

Well...
I have 3 hypotheses about this "strange" fact, perhaps one can explain this...
First: Since a diesel engine have more torque than a gasoline engine, maybe the torque curve of the diesel was redesigned to match the same performance of the gasoline motor.
Second: One of the two cars maybe can received some type of "adjustment" to diminish its performance in acceleration and top speed (sure, the more fast) to equalize to the other.
Third, and the most probable: Just the specs of one car about 0-100 and Top Speed certainly can be wrong (in exactly values) . I donīt have sure about them...
But...
i think this doesnīt make much difference makes 0.3 seconds or 5 Km/h to more or to less in this case, right?? :D

Thanks for giving me your theories about this, you really thought of some great points. And no, it doesn't really matter when cars like these are the subject, but i was just curious  ....
