1/4 drag = LT1 F-body (cam job, heads, rear end, exhaust :D )
Lot of people like the 3000gts, not even the VR4s, the 222DOHC.
OR just buy a car that already has high HP and is "suped" up from the factory.

You actually dont need to soup yup anything, just get a nice superbike, R6 i think is one of the best ones out there? Im not too good on my superbike knowledge.

Just stay away from Front Wheel Drive cars and you should be fine. You can honestly only put so much power behind um. What I would do is steal a Supra Twin Turbo and then spend your 10,000 on a new turbo's, headers, exhaust, intakes, the whole shabang. Escaping the law is up to you  I never think too far in the future...

Theyre good cars for there age, no road tax on the older models 8) Also, apart from the insurance factor, I would consider one as a first car, check out the website, this is one beautifully modified 944 IMO: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/575544

That is actually quite smart! I've had a Ford Puma, Focus ST170 and now I've got a Focus Zetec TDCi. All were great, except the ST which has too long a gear ratio's and is not very reliable. And the insurance was a pain in the A$$!

A good quality used Metro 6R4 will set you back about £3500 so that's $6265. Burns oil, eats clutches but the madest Metro ever!! And with the money you've got left you can tidy up the engine by fitting a big catalytic convertor and a nice set of goodyears for the wheels.

Enjoy some pics!:

And don't worry about modifying it, you'll find it is plent fast enough... 8)

Yeah, thats for sure!! One of these left tyre tracks on the road with no effort at all, so imaging what revving the engine and dropping the clutch quickly can do!!

Rear brake cylinder leaked.
central locking dont work.

Leaking fuel tank

If you get a 300ZX, don't get the turbo'd models, they had, factory problem, a major heat problem that caused a very large number of the turbo'd models engines to simply seize up and die after like, 3000 miles. Now if you do get one make sure you upgrade bigtime with the cooling systems.

But, Porsche 944Turbo all the way, orrrr...if you've actually got taste and class, get a 968 GT, those will do a 168 mph bone stock...Good luck insuring it!

Please note the posting date of the previous post before answering, btw, welcome to SCF.

I'm going to close this thread since it's kind of old and not really interesting.

Feel free to PM me if anyone has any problems with that.
