What do you think is the best car out of the Ferrari and the Porsche

Porsche is my favourite.

Ok, first of all it's Porsche, and if you say so please make an argument, i like Ferrari better, but no because of the name, 360 Modena for example is superb, it has enough power to beat most cars on mountain roads (i'm no fancy street racer), it has handling to match it's power and it's just plain beautiful, in the other hand, the 911 Turbo (again, not top of the line) is great on a track, it's far easier to drive than it's older versions (even though you still need more skill than most fwd cars because of the weight balance) and it's great value, it can accelerate, handl and stop as good as the 360, and german quality is higher. Even there i preffer Ferrari, it's just more expressive, more agressive and more direct.

i think the best Ferrari is the enzo most performant ferrari and the besgt porsche i would have to say the GT2 :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Porsches I think are more everyday driving friendly and a Ferrari is for weekend cruises (I don't know, my opinion)

But still, to be honest, I really think the Porsche's design elements are the most flawless of all of the marques of the world.

What I'm trying to say is that anyone (even women) can tell what's a Porsche just by glancing at it. It's survived that long to get that reputation.

The only porsche with a 'V' engine is the V12 Carrera GT and cayenne - everything else has a flat 6

For example, Nissan V6s, can match american V8 with less displacement, easy, i like V8s better too, but the Z for example has a great powerband

And as for Porsches, they are damn great, their only problem at leaset the RR ones (RR: rear engine rear drive) is that you actually need skill to drive, but once you know the car, they are of the best out there, and Porsche's use flat-6 engines for most cars, except cayenne which has a V8 (and is a super hyper SUV) and Carrera GT that has a V10 with power to battle the Enzo

MMMM, as far as pickups, to each, it's own, they are really handy, and they are pretty cool to drive, if you don't like them, your problem

Now, about 575M Maranello and Porsche GT2, your power figures are right, but the GT IS in fact faster, and more sporty, the Maranello is a bit overweight (but it's still awesome, IMHO the best looking GT in the world), the GT2 weighs almost 300kg less, so the power to weight ratio is better, also the torque n the GT2 is 457ft-lbs from 3500 to 4500 sustained, the ferrari gets less (434) at higher rpm (5250) so the GT2 powerband is better, about thandling, with the overweight, i dont think the 575 can touch the 110km/h in the 180m slalom, and the porshe has ceramic and carbon fiber brakes, the best brakes on a production car.

Look man... design is subjective. Some would say that Porsche is prettier and some others would say that Ferrari is prettier, and noone would be wrong. As for performance, the F50 beats the GT2 by only some tenths of a second, but trust me, the GT2 is faster than the F40 around a track! Btw, stop being prejudiced in favour of italian cars and try to think objectively about the pros and cons of each car before you post.

You are wrong here! My opinion is that Ferrari is looking for more luxury! Take a look ata the 575M for example. You could even buy that car for a luxury model! The GT2 is MUCH more brutal and more fast, and so difficult to control that it keeps your adrenaline over the limit!!

Porsche is an EXCELLENT ca company. They are more affordable than Ferarris, yes? I appreciate that aspect and the cars themselves are just spectacular. Just look at the revolutionary 422(I really need to check out that designation, I'm still not sure). It had mid 400 hp power and AWD, in the 1980's! But who makes the BEST cars? Fearri, by a good margin. The F40 is THE ULTIMATE RIDE. Nothing has ever, or will ever touch its looks, performance aside even.

F-50 eats the GT-2 EVERY porsche , and even a Gemballa ( sounds like : heavely tuned to me ) Corner work the Murcielago can't keep up with a NSX-R .

Now i don't know this for sure but the F-50 looks untuned to me! If i hear the sounds it's still the REAL Ferrari sounds !

Yes I know, I have downloaded the video. And yes, the F50 is not tuned. I never said that the GT2 would beat an F50!! I know that the F50 is faster, but I must remind you that it was a supercar of its time and it was much, MUCH more expensive than the GT2. You should compare a Carrera GT with the F50, and then I believe the Carrera GT would win easy!! As for the GT2, you should better compare it with a Challenge Stradale or with a 575M Maranello (again, the GT2 would win easy). BTW, notice the small difference between the times of the F50 and the GT2! It is below 1 second!!

PS: I agree that the Murcielago has not very good track times. That's because Lamborghini's cars are not too much race oriented and they also tend to move towards luxury. Anyway, they're nice!

PPS: Don't get me wrong, I love the F50, but I'm trying to say that the GT2 is also extremely fast!

1. No, I don't think the GT2 was tuned... Otherwise they would say that.
2. Ok, I know that the Enzo will beat the Carrera GT... but the Enzo is beyond any dream! It's too rare and expensive (700K euro!!!)! I think that the GT2 is the best you can get with its amount of money (approx. 311K euro here).
3. I don't know about the NSX... it could be tuned, but it's a great car anyway.

I think power to weight they are the same point approximatelly, and the Stradale was born on a track, it lacks many amenities of the regular Modena Coupe, i guess it's a better track car

Porsche has one of the most flawless designs ever. They build great cars with quality that can only be replicated by few other companis :D

OMG, this is such a hard poll. Well, there is the 911, Carrera GT, the Boxter, and highly anticipated Caymen for Porshce. Then there's Ferrari: Enzo, F50, 575M, Maranello, and the F430 spyder. But in the end, I'd go for Porsche, because you don't have to keep a porsche in a garage non-stop.
