The Ford Rallye Sport team, ran by M-Sport, will be releasing theire new car at the next WRC rally that will take place in New Zealand. I would like to know, how do you think it will perform and if they will/have finally resolved theire reliaty issues. I myself hope it will be faster, but more important- more reliable.

I think it will be more reliable, and apparently has more power pushing from the engine. Is it just me, or is the limit of 300bhp no longer a rule?
Hopefully for Ford the car will be better because it will be up against the new Impreza WRC04, and the Peugeot 307ccWRC (not all that reliable though!), and Citroen are releasing their Xsara WRC 2004 model very soon as well. Skoda will also be doing "test" rallies with a new revised Fabia WRC.
The competition will be getting closer :D , so the later rallies should get more interesting!

I'm still backing the Subaru's, although I don't really think the car has the specs to match the potential of the new Focus and Xsara.

Yeah, the Focus 03 was clearly the fastest car on the road last year, but it wasn't veri reliable, wich was the reason of Markko Märtin losing so many rallies!

but ford got a 1-2 the last rally, so they must being doing something right.

I guess the cars were just behaving well! :wink:

So Markko & François could really use the cars at their full potential.
