One day whilst I was checking out my ugly, yellow headlights on my neon, I had an idea.

- I cleaned the headlight,
- wet sanded the face of the headlight with 400 grit sandpaper,
- and I sprayed the light with a spray paint style clearcoat with 2 to 3 coats.

This worked fairly well and was really cheap and easy because I already had the sandpaper and clearcoat lying around. Plus the fact that I didn't have to uninstall anything was a big plus. The only problem was that although it did an awsome job of taking out the yellow, the headlight was still blury looking. So this isn't a miricle, but it could be a good alternative to buying $150+ headlights. I hope you find it usefull

Just rub it down with tooth paste. Tooth pasts it a light grit polish and will make your head lights very shiny if you have the patience.

does the same thing imply with your teeth?

Haha i wasnt referring to the yellow, but yes that is how your teeth are cleaned. They are polished. Plastic headlights get that way after a while because the plastics exterior is much softer than glass. Glass will never turn yellow or anything.
