View Full Version : No More Mercedes Benz CLK?

I stopped at my local Benz dealer to look at new CLKs, but there was not one on the lot. Has it been put out to pasture or is the all new CLK coming out?

I did look at a 00 CLK 430 with the AMG sport appearance package.

I doubt MB would cancel the CLK, it's a big seller.

^Hes right its beeing replaced, they make a loada money on then cause they are so overpriced

I didn't think they would kill the regular CLKs but I thought it was odd they did not have any. There was about 2 dozen C-class Sedans and wagons.

Well a new MB dealer opened near me today (grand opening) biggest show room in NJ with the 2nd biggest inventory of cars and they had a couple CLK's. So I dont think they're getting rid of it. Plus the put the new AMG engine in one so it will be aroung for a while.

If i remeber correctly the CLK has recently had a mild facelift so that dealership had either sold out or were just restocking

I went back on Sunday and I found two CLKs on their lot. A coupe and convertible. The cars were all moved around from the day before.

I love the New CLK63 AMG...IMO they wont stop producing it...

As far as the CLK goes I think it's pretty much a modern classic.
some 60 years from now people will still be driving completely restored CLK's with the only difference that the electronics have all been replaced by far more modern and fancy electronics kind of like in buck rogers. :rolleyes:

But honestly, it's one of very few modern cars that I think will be remembered.
