Thank god for autoweek. It appears that nissan is dropping it's faithful skyline for the 350z to compete in the GT500 class. It comes with a twin turbo V-6 pumping out 465hp and 520 ft lbs of torque. As you know, the 350z's have been racing inthe GT300 class for a year or so, and now it's time to step up with the big boys. Do youlike the new car? Do you think it will be any chance for the NSX's and Supra's? Should we stick with the R34? Do you think a replacement for the supra and NSX are due anytime soon?

I love it, I think it will have success. The Supras and NSXs are still tough, however. And I don't think they need a replacement soon.

awesome. the Endless Z won the GT300 last year too so it's definitely a contender. It would be interesting to see a Z win both GT300 and GT500. does this mean ALL the GT-R's in JGTC are being dropped for this version Z? Calsonic, Motul, Xanavi...

yeah, i think they should change drop the supras too, however Toyota needs to pump out the next-gen supra or an equal to it. i'm sure the NSX's will be replaced by the upcoming nsx's looking at that HSC concept.
